Had many emotional experiences in 8th grade listening to this song and others from the album and thinking about various girls I had crushes on. Robert Sledge was an extremely good bassist, certainly one of the best post-1990, at least in the top 10. Nobody else was using the bass the way he did, as a lead instrument.

I can't past the fact that Ben Folds is almost 50 now cause their songs are ageless and he sounds soooooooooooo young
