Belle, Regina - Show Me The Way Lyrics

Show me the way now
Moving step by step to love
Show me, yeah, the way now
Touching where I've never been touched

Everybody's looking for a reason
Making time and calling it love
But you give me all I've ever needed
Don't ever stop filling me up

(Show me)
Yeah the way now
Moving step by step to love
Oh baby, won't you

(Show me)
Show me the way now
Touching where I've never been touched

I've been used and I've been good at using
Running from the pain deep inside
But you make me feel the joy of living
And all the tears I've never cried, so

(Show me)
Show me the way now
Moving step by step to love
Oh, baby, won't you

(Show me)
Show me the way now
Touching where I've never been touched no, no

(Show me)
Show me yeah, the way now
I've been stumbling in the dark, baby

(Show me)
Show me the way now
Let me slip inside your heart, yeah

Baby this time we're taking
The long road together, oh baby
And I know that the love within
Will lead me to surrender

(Show me)
The way now
(Show me)
Moving step by step to love

(Show me, show me the way)
Ooh yeah, yeah
(Show me)
I've been used and I've been good at using, boy

(Show me the way)
Open up your love inside baby, yeah
(Show me, show me the way)
Don't let me walk alone no, no
(Show me)
Ooh, show me

(Show me the way)
Yeah
(Show me)
The way baby

She deserves her lifetime achievement award! It’s 2019 who agrees???

    L.... L....

    most definitely

    L.... L....

Strange, I thought she already had one by now (O_o). Her first three Columbia albums pretty much solidified her status as one of the finest female R&B/Soul vocalists of our time, especially 1993's 'Passion'. She put in WORK on that one, my goodness...

    L.... L....

    Hell yes!!

  19. J.... M....

I love this woman Og bodean 1973

  20. D.... ....

She never sang this song good live...go watch that Apollo first verse from 87. She's a good singer but wasn't ever a great singer for the 80s.

  21. S.... C....

Ranks somewhere up there among my all time favourites. I listen to this song over en over en can't just get enough of it! This is real music!

  22. P.... ....

Regina was neck-deep in Whitney Houston territory back then, but fortunately didn't carry "excess baggage" which plagued the latter all the way to her untimely transition. Probably the reason why she didn't become a much bigger star as the 90s rolled around, didn't bother jumping through political hoops in the industry just to pump up her brand even more. Thank goodness George Duke (RIP) finally got her back on track with her 2004 artistic breakthrough 'Lazy Afternoon', which truly proved what a naturally gifted vocalist she still is today. Heard she recently survived a near-fatal brain tumor, so that's a huge relief.

  23. X.... S....

Man, the older i get the more i appreciate this.

  24. J.... W....

This is a good song and it's kinda rare that it's only 32 years old lol

    Listening in 2019💗

  95. A.... S....

the reason RB never hit mainstream pop radio is the music is r and b and not pop. her voice is magnificent as is stephanie too powerful for pop. it is surprising that Aretha was so big but back then white people openly listened to and bought r and b artists, then there was backlash and pop radio refused to play many outstanding artists. look at the changes in the charts in the 70's (pop) from 60's.

    A.... S....

What? She had a Grammy winning song “A Whole New World” which got crazy play across “pop” radio and smash sales, as did Anita Baker, Stacy Lattisaw, Deniece Williams, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Jody Whatley, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Patti Austin, Patty LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack and many others who were played across R&B and “pop” stations. From the 1960s through 1990s were scores of artists and groups with “crossover” success and acclaim beyond R&B alone. Sadly it seems there are fewer new singers who match the vocals of 1970s and 1980s stars who were (and are) widely known across audiences...

  96. l.... a....

    My song

  97. N.... T....

    2019 and still rocking❤️
