Styphelus hi - just checked. She is playing the UK in July, October and November. She is playing New York first half of June and Nevada in October. Still going strong it seems. Cheers

This is the single best video of Belinda on all of YouTube...Belinda is a friend of mine, and she talks about this clip in her autobiography 'Lips Unsealed' ; she said while years ago she was updating her website, she came across this clip on YT,she didnt even know it existed; she was scared to watch it, because she was so nervous this night performing at The Roxy, she thought it would be awful (her lifelong battle with insecurity) well she says in her book that her hand was shaking as she hit the 'play' button....and BAM! she was so pleasantly surprised how good it was; for a moment, she was actually really proud of herself; a very rare feeling for her.....Anyway, When this album came out, this was the song that I played over and over; I thought "shit, Madonna's got nothing on this"  (its the 80s folks!)
It is the best song Belinda ever recorded, and its even better live here; She's always been so much better live, even when she was all fucked up on coke, she still would just blow the place away; this is one of the most under-appreciated performances ever; but to whomever posted this, Belinda wants you to know she got so much self-confidence back after viewing this....Read her book, everybody!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing the story!!! I didn't know that until now. I met Belinda in person after the show at Billboard Live Tokyo. She is the most divine person I've ever met, has a very bright aura.

So I got to be buddies with her because if you look at my YT 'handle', it means that I played drums with The Fabulous Thunderbirds in Austin in '79! well Belinda started having an affair with our guitar player Jimmy Vaughn (yes big brother of Stevie Ray) she was married, so I helped sneak her around.....but the thing that I still don't get, is what did she see in him? Jimmy was a total jerk! Still is!  Kim Wilson is the nicest guy you will ever meet; and Stevie was really nice, but just so fucked-up on drugs and booze all of the time....sad

Being born in 1980 and living through that decade with a plethora of mainstream pop music dating back to 1955 with every era in between, I can tell you straight off that you hardly need to just rock hard and be a metal head (though I have tried it) in order to demonstrate power. Belinda (probably) demonstrates more power in this one performance than System of a Down have demonstrated in their whole catalog.

I know! She's 60? No Way! I really like what you say here about how she demonstrates more power in this one performance than any hard rock band; very well said...and so true....as River states here from 3 years ago, her solo career was SO mis-managed; Yes this should have been released as a single, but its too good for car radios!

I really like that one part where she sings, "I ought to get into my car, hit that pedal hard".

Amazing ballad and my Favorite along with "Mad About You!" She sings this beautiful song with such emotion and deepness! Love the highs and lows to this ballad, so incredibly melancholy, but makes you really feel the harmony. Wish Belinda would re-release it today and put her special magic into it! I agree this song should have been a single and a great video would have made it a top hit!

@Dottie Danger Fan Thanks Dottie...glad to know there's fans out there that appreciate the less popular, but emotionally charged songs! She's always been so underrated in my opinion and doesn't get the recognition she deserves as one of pop's greatest. :)

Such a perfect performance of Belinda!!!! For my opinion "Since you've gone" was the best song on her first album,it was really underrated and this was a unforgivable pity. It's a perfect ballad with great soul. If it had been chosen as second single with a good videoclip it could have been her first number one in the USA charts and today an eternal evergreen with many covers of young artists.
