I wonder if, in retrospect this isn't their best album after Satanist? it's more terrifying than anything else, heavier and better than apostasy and, despite not having Conquer all or Slaves shall serve I think the overall metal quality is better than Demigod...

+djokan ilic The satanist is pretty good, but I think I"m gonna have to agree with you on this one. This album is just so perfect. It's dynamic, atmospheric and incredibly tight while at the same time maintaining a high level of intensity. The satanist perhaps a has a better atmosphere, but its' intentionally murky production and black metal stylings take away from the intensity a bit, imo.
