Bee Gees - Such A Shame Lyrics
All that I hear doesn't feel right. Don't
call me 'till you're all right. I listened
and I heard but don't tell me. La de da.. Once in a
while he says good night. Will I care if
sometimes he is right? What a shame, it's
tried! I just sat
and then I cried. Maybe I'm wrong
or will I find out when I'm gone? There is so much fun
in my leisure. Don't bother me, man, just stay there. If it's a sin, I'll
convert me astray. La de da... Come be home with me,
it's not a shame for you to
see Oh
let it be and you'll miss reality.

Bee Gees Such A Shame Comments
Eles arrasam em todas lindo amores de mim vida
I always preferred the Bee Gees as a five-piece group than being reduced as a trio.
60s song
“Let it be and
You’ll mis reality”
Was that a sly dig and the Beatles?
Don't think so. This song predates the Beatles' by one year or so.
So the Beatles ripped off the Bee Gees?
Robin on Bass !!!!
I always enjoy the times I see Robin playing an instrument.

wow this is cool, the guitar player Vince Melouney is singing, sounds a bit like Badfinger
Great Song! The Best Era Bee Gees for away!
A very interesting quote from Bruce15485 [4 years ago] that l copied from another video of this song.
"Ironically, this is one of my most favourite Bee Gees songs. Vince Melouney should never have left the band. His guitar work gave the 60's Bee Gees their hit sound. His contribution can not be underestimated. No doubt had he stayed with the band they would have used his song writing, singing and lead guitar abilities even more. If you listen to the Bee Gees First, Horizontal, Idea and Odessa albums you can easily hear Vince's impact on the Bee Gees sound".
His guitar break on The Change is Made is awsome
I keep playing this over and over ....... it's satisfying something inside me (at this time) ...... nostalgia or the pure fact that it's a new discovery ....... (never heard before till I heard this apparent "british" album "IDEA" (because my u.s. version didn't have this one on it)
this would be a great remake song for those guys from England, can't remember their names ...... the group that one of the guys left to pursue his own dreams ...... oh yeah ..... ONE DIRECTION ........ and get permission to add a little more ..... so it's a longer song ....... I think the girls would go kooky bonkers!
these guys were "right on" during this era ........ so original and harmonic (including harmonica, lol)
Oh that harmonica sounds full of soul...
the bee gees at there very best, make no mistake......
the best line-up of the bee gees ever..... such a shame.......
Thanks Chi. A valuable bit of Bee Gee history. l was told by a fellow fan that it is the only song they recorded that was not written by the Gibbs.
@allymayful
@Rocky Riopta
@allymayful Not exactly. It wasn't written by one of the brothers Gibb, but at that time Bee Gees were five. Anyway, they recorded several Beatles' songs (including Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band Soundtrack).
@Sebastián Matías Zmener Yes thanks, l knew that, but l was referring to their studio albums, in general. l was particularly interested in this song, because l was a fan of Vince M., before he joined the Bee Gees.
Back in the Australian days, they recorded Dylan. And they performed the Stones on Australian TV, not sure if they recorded it.
