Beatles, The - Too Much Monkey Business Lyrics

Running to and fro, hard
Working at the mail
Never fail
Get the mail
Yeah, some rotten deal
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to invite them again

Say me
Talking to me
Tryin' to run me up a creek
She used to buy one
Try to pay me again next week
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to invite them again

Long-haired, good-looking
Trying to get me hooked
Or me to marry
Settle down
Get the horn by the bull
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to invite them again

Mediocre money
Being fighting in the hall
Army bunk, army go
Army chow, army cook
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to invite them again

Same thing every day
Getting up, going to school
No need to make complaining
My objection's overruled
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to invite them again

Working in the filling station
Too many tires
Wipe the windows
Check the tire
Check the oil and all the gas
Ow!

Too much monkey business
Too much monkey business
Don't want your moderation, get away, leave me

Beatles, The Too Much Monkey Business Comments
  1. J.... B....

For me the beatles peak was 1963. After that, they only made money.

  2. P.... ....

Anyone who thinks it's clever to mock Ringo's drumming needs to listen to this song!

    P.... ....

There's a envy because he was a great part on the greatest band of all time.

  3. .... ....

Runnin' to-and-fro, hard workin' at the mill
Never fail in the mail, yeah, come a rotten bill
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Salesman talkin' to me, tryin' to run me up a creek
Says you can buy now, gone try, you can pay me next week, ahh
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Blonde haired good looks, tryin' to get me hooked
Want me to marry, get a home, settle down, write a book
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Same thing every day, gettin' up, goin' to school
No need for me to complain, my objection's overruled, ahh
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Take home, something wrong, dime gone, will hold
Order suit, hoppered up for telling me a tale, ahh
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Been to yokohama, been fightin' in the war
Army bunk, army chow, army clothes, army car, aah
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Workin' in the fillin' station, too many tasks
Wipe the windows, check the tires, check the oil, dollar gas
Too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Don't want your botheration, get away, leave me
Too much monkey business for me

  7. M.... R....

White people steeling songs like usal ...

  8. r.... ....

One of the many super underrated songs on these albums. Even though most of them are covers and weren't released at the time as albums, the Live at the BBC albums are among my favorites from the early Beatles era. Their ability to improve on already released songs is something most people really have no awareness of.

    r.... ....

    roomandaroom , masters at covers

    r.... ....

I agree with you... but do not say that most people ignore that the early beatles years were great.!!! because i Do.!!!

  9. V.... R....

    Oh that BASSLINE !!!!!

  10. C.... S....

Not an easy song to perform live, mostly because of Chuck's tongue twisting lyrics, fucked many a performer up back then

  11. J.... T....

Fantastic sound here. Ringo and George at their finest.

  12. c.... ....

John Lennon playing the guitar solo on this one.

    c.... ....

nailed it didnt he? Really captured the feel of Chuck

  13. T.... H....

    John Lennon, the rocker

    T.... H....

    Ringo Starr, the mocker

  14. d.... ....

Elvis Presley also did this song.
