The original on vinyl LP "Something New" - NOT 'Hard Day's Night' - sounds so much better than the remastered. Holding the album in my hand scratches and all due to playing it with love so many times. "Any Time At All" was another fave on that LP.

I thought I was so very madly in love with Paul McCartney as a little girl, but it was the voice, not him. I woke from a dream in 74, so pissed off at The Beatles, that I changed bands, to that of Aerosmith. At the time, I did remember why I could not stand them anymore, but it was hidden within a dream Jimmy, Bobby, and Charlie sent my way. I was outraged and refused to have anything to do with The Beatles after that. Now, Im back again.
The pope has alot to answer for....Satan's music has been keeping the church in business ever since human matter was able to move.

I saw Paul McCartneyu in his debut on brazilian`s stages with the show Paul in Rio at Maracanã Stadium in 1990. He played this song using an 12 string black acoustic guitar and sing for the first time (I guess...) cause I never saw others shows with this song at set list, so never heard him playing this song alive again. There is a record alive of this song is and is from the tour of album ``Flowers in the Dirty```the same I watched in 1990...

John's harmony is beyond words.

It's not John's harmony. On the studio version that's Paul harmonizing with himself as in the last verse of 'All My Loving'. In the live performances George would join in on the harmony.

There were bands that were known for harmonies, like the Hollies and the Beach Boys. But McCartney's & Lennon's talent for stringing together harmonic chords was somewhere up with Cole Porter. Shades of emotion effortlessly flow through the entire song.

Starts out in a minor key.....then jumps to the major in the middle 8.....this is why you love this song.
