I liked the early years the best but when The Beatles did New material on The White Album it was new and different from their earlier days the music was fun to listen too The Beatles changed but the fan bass stayed the same fans like me still bought the albums The Beatles would always write new songs John and Paul were such brilliant song writers even after the group broke up the music lived on and will live on forever The Beatles left behind more great music than any group could process in a lifetime it was truly great I was sad after John was murdered I think if John was still with us today he may have written again with Paul McCartney.

Ok so a couple of months ago, I got a copy of the White Album on vinyl for my birthday, so, ya know, I played it. (I only played it up to this track because it was time for everyone to go to bed). A few weeks later, I played it in the car from my phone, and all of my baby sisters sang along (I thought it was adorable at first, but they wouldn’t stop singing it the whole week). I just went downstairs to put in my laundry, and I hear them screaming “HEEEEYYYY BUCKLE A BILL, BUCKLE A BILL”. I think it’s fascinating that, after all these years, these songs still have the power to stay in someone’s head after only one play.

This song was written by John Lennon about a sad, rich, middle aged, man he met in India. The guy while on so-called religious enlightenment pilgrimage , then ventured out and hunted/murdered a load of tigers. Then he came back an started acting all Godly again.
