Beatles, The - Tell Me What You See Lyrics
If you let me take your heart I will prove to you
We will never be apart if I'm part of you
Open up your eyes now, tell me what you see
It is no surprise now, what you see is me
If you put your trust in me I'll make bright your day
Look into these eyes now, tell me what you see
Don't you realise now, what you see is me
Tell me what you see
Listen to me one more time, how can I get through?
Can't you try to see that I'm trying to get to you?
Open up your eyes now, tell me what you see
It is no surprise now, what you see is me
Tell me what you see
Listen to me one more time, how can I get through?
Can't you try to see that I'm trying to get to you?
Open up your eyes now, tell me what you see
It is no surprise now, what you see is me

I think this might be the most overlooked Beatle song.
Now my greatest love is Cees Rootjes I really love him so much I want to be with him and I want to spend my live with him
A very lovely song a guy has sing this song a long time ago his name was Eric Versluys uit Hengelo
Really surprised this wasn't a bigger hit. Great song!
BEATLES. FOREVER !!!
The band is in sync
A great and emotional song with perfect harmonies and interesting instrumentation.
92 people cant tell what they see...
beatles is the best group ever XD
Beatles songs and recordings just sound very clean and pure nothing wrong about this one!
The U.S. received this song on Beatles VI almost 2 months before Help was issued in the U.K.
- Vocals, Bass & Electric Piano: Paul McCartney
- Vocals, Guitar & Tambourine: John Lennon
- Güiro: George Harrison
- Drums & Percussion: Ringo Starr
John Lennon thought life was a fairy tale
Paul said this was just a filler song...verses ahead beat, poorly arranged etc...amazing :-0
John and Paul's vocal blend is seamless and exquisite.
Very underrated

I came looking for Berserk's opening and found tremendous song beauty
One of the greatest tracks The Beatles ever produced. Those harmonies!!! Highly underrated. It amazes me, that John called some of The Beatles' tracks, 'throwaways'. (This one included). You know you are a great band...when what you consider as throwaways, any other band would have given their teeth to have been able to pen. Gorgeous track. Gorgeous harmonies.
It's so unique
Well just like any Beatles song but shhh let me be
I love Ringo's drums in this song
I feel this has a bit of a Buddy Holly feel to it,can you imagine Buddy and the Beatles actually working together? Bob.
Janet Sampson Paul brought the rights to Buddy Holly songs.
One of the most underrated songs of all time
Битлз - сила
Genius. Wish the vocals were just a bit lower compared to the instrumentals, though.
Love Love Love the Beatles! xoxox
The real Paul.....not Billy.
This is the worst song on the album but it's still a great song. Can someone explain?
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkhf2ibMeKTAGH1HLCFaeNA/live
What a great song, highlights what great vocalists. John and Paul were
Everytime I hear a Beatles tune I can tell you who's singing in 5 seconds.
I have friends who never knew it was the Beatles 🤣
Even a stupid album throw away, is a good ass song.
Besst Bannndddd innn the Worrrlllldddd !!!!
Why is this song considered one of their worst? I love how John sings the questions and Paul sings the answers. Admittedly, the ending is a little flat but I think the songs deserves more credit than it is given.
HARmonies and drums .... the rest is utter shit .. GOOD is the ONLY clonker in 208 songs released (originals and covers) so piss of if you disagree. BTW Lennon mentioned this as something HE HATED .. and he hated it so much it was NOT in the movie
Gracias :+}}}}
the best song, the best memories of the person i loved so much 💔
Perfect song by the best band ever, THE BEATLES
esta canción siempre la ponía en mi infancia y me daba mucha emoción y me ponía muy contento y ahora lo sigue haciendo
Would be lovely as a slowed down ballad too. Try it guitar players.
a somewhat obscure beatles song that is brilliant.. an unseen gem.
None of them are obscure to me because I have all the albums. :-)
If you let me take your heart I will prove to you

That magical crisp iconic sound that only the Beatles can produce and everyone just had to follow.
I'll be adding this to my worship set at church this week! Perfect!
46 assholes
@BlitzkriegCHILE they're multiplying.
Now 60.
tell me what you see- ( conte me, o que você vê?), linda musica.
wilson--niterói-rj-brazil
the best band is the beatles
Jesu's out of this, friend, understand?
I hate to say BUT, there's a lot of great groups out there! Don't be so narrow minded. All throughout the 50's to the 90's.
Charles Aguilar Yes many great bands bus none are at the level of the Beatles
i was there now 60, still feel 16
Ditto. We were fortunate to "see" The Beatles at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 28, 1966. 'Tis a magical musical memory in the windmills of my mind. I like several British Invasion bands, The Kinks, The Yardbirds, The Who, etc., but none came close to The Fab Four. And that's a fact, Jack. Or should I say John?
Great old stuff, here, classic Beatles stuff of that time.
stuffy stuff stuff
THE GREATEST BAND EVER !!!!!!!😎😎😎😎
Nah led zeppelin homie
Ronald Soriano yeah ok kid....... what’s your proof that Led Zeppelin is actually the greatest band of all time it’s called go on the internet and type greatest band of all time and the Beatles come first
And just your * homie * pretty much proves your like this 15 year old black kid who thinks he’s all thug as you little snowflakes calls it now so you can just get lost kid it’s always like this in every Beatle vid always that one kid that comes and says that Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd or queen is better then the Beatles and it’s totally juvenile you know for a fact that the Beatles were the greatest kid you just say that Led Zeppelin were just to get attention from other people because your little snowflake ass doesn’t already get enough attention already from all your fake friends at school right???? All you want is attention and a reaction from people just to start a stupid argument about such a logical subject which is that the Beatles are the greatest band of all time period if I was a Led Zeppelin fan and not a Beatles fan I’d say that the Beatles were the greatest band of all time because the reality is that they were the greatest of all time sorry for my ranting but I just rather say the truth about you then to not say it
Led zeppelin numero uno pink floyd or the beatles numero 2 the doors number 3. Boston numero 4
Motley crue poison warrant black sabbath thin lizzy deep purple grand funk rail road blood sweat and tears Chicago Kansas foreigner ..... I know my classic rock I'm a 29 year old who grew up on that music thanks to my father.
@Rain I'll have the audacity to say Boston is a better band than the beatles although they didn't compose as many songs as the beatles. Just since led zeppelin is over rated.
Sadly overlooked song that I think has aged very well. Of its time, yet crying for a remake.
Not a remake! Can you imagine what somebody would do it now?!
Oh, this song puts me in a very good mood
He at least could have had a verse.
It wiuld have been amazing if Ringo sang this. It would have really fit his voice!
@Lmclean89 "Tell me what you Submarine."
God singing to us through John? listen to words.
Teeeelllllllllllll me what you seeeeeeeeeeee. The electric piano rules.
Tan jóvenes; en ese momento y escribiendo tan bella cancion
2019???
El autor de esta cancion fue Maccartney.
2019 anyone?
The harmonies between lennon and mccartney are awesome
i wanna cry i love them so much
phenomenal word play -- order and juxtaposition - in this one. superb.
This was on the Beatles V album spring of 1965 in USA before the HELP album and movie were out.
Don't think I even knew this song existed!
Life without the Beatles is unthinkable xx
I Certainly Agree
Just lovely
Ringo' ♡
This is the most simple and direct declaration of unconditional love from anybody to anybody. We will never be apart if I'm part of you. There's a child-like simplicity to it. Love is simple after all. One of their best songs.
What a perfect, beautiful song. Have been listening to this all day today. And when not listening, it's been in my head or been singing it. (31/1/19)
Ringo did a really great job with the vocals on this one he almost sounds like john :D
Golden Carmichael lmao Ringo didn’t sing on this song
Seriously, do you not know the sound of the 5th BEATLES vocal it is the sound of JOHN and PAUL singing together, what a great singer, wish I could hear it again and again and again............... will never be duplicated, I truly miss it. I used to go through all the songs of the Beatles and make up a collection of the songs with that 5th BEATLE singing there are many they are my favorite BEATLES SONGS thank you John and Paul.
Doesn't anybody know which Beatle is singing the solo parts in this song? Is it George? Hard to tell.
@reijo salminen clearly, John is singing parts of the song.
-you asked "who sings the solo parts". That is Paul.
I'm pretty sure it's John and Paul singing in unison. It's like a super voice.
@murff625 there are solo sections...didn't you listen to the song?
@murff625 You're correct. It's John and Paul singing EVERY word together as a duet. I'm surprised people can't hear that.
I know there is a lot of duet singing parts with Paul and John on this song, but who is singing the solo parts ("open up your eyes now, tell me what you see...") is that Paul, John or George singing the solo part -- it's great vocals !
@Robert Bray I agree, some solo parts sound like George - others not so much. This is a rare Beatles tune where it's hard to figure out who is singing the solo parts. I definitely know John is singing some solo parts - not all.....very weird if you ask me.
Ukelele Fácil no... Paul with John, not just Paul
that was paul...says wikipedia.
I'm pretty sure it's Paul and John singing in unison. It's like a super voice.
There are no 'solo' parts. Even the lines that sound like solo parts aren't solo. They only sound solo, because on those lines, John and Paul are singing the same melody.
This Song is for the Life ali.....
Está música é para a vida toda
El mejor long play de THE BEATLES ,claro, desde mi modesta opinion.HELP.
The ending sounds very 'Rain'-like.
Underrated
Great favorite
Kill John Lennon...Kill John Lennon!
FUCK YOUR LIFE!
Wot bro that's wrong and dark....
Well , hes already dead so i don't see the point , by the way Fuck off
Why do you want to kill John Lennon? Is it because he has something you don't? Namely absolute fucking LOVE?
''Big and Black the clouds may be, time will pass away.'' I love this song
written on a framed picture at mendips
Very underrated

Beautiful melody, words, music: all four together here.
Beautiful Song
Nombre hijos mis queridos Bestles desplegando su talento con esta rolaza " dime que ves"
Anyone else feel like this is response to Help!?
huh maybe? Good theory
In response to If I Fell.
Dude, that's an excellent thought!
thank you Paul, I'm so glad you put this back on youtube
Etienne Schwarz , i heard it was youtube itself that removed any copyright things, not just Beatles.
Beautiful song, The Beatles forever.
Love the harmony and the change up in the drumming. Too bad The Beatles didn't think much of this song. I love it.
Not Beatles but done very well
I had to check my latest Beatles reference book "All The Songs". Lead singing is credited to Paul. It sounds like John and Paul in unison in the choruses. That would be very unusual for them. The book says it was knocked off quickly as album filler in only 4 takes. That could be the reason. I think it's great that we care about the minutia after all these years.
@Mickey M John sings low, Paul high harmony on the verse then double on the lead melody before the chorus.
It is Paul and John on lead vocals
Definitely The Beatles did this one.
Cee Diddy This Is The Beatles
G major. Paul and John didn't think much of this one, but I love it!
Math Person I was the bassist in a band during the late 60s/early 70s. We covered a lot of the Beatles songs, as myself and our vocalist had great harmonies together. This was one of my favourites.
@Tiffany Michelle LOL so John & Paul HATED this piece of shit and you think THEY are WRONG???? LOL. that is precious
mickavellian , not a SHIT SONG.
I love this one. One of my faves by the fab 4.
Nothing better than The Beatles!
And nothing worse than tribute bands fucking it up!
It should be illegal...
Elvis and The Beatles ARE rock and roll !!!
@Barni Jones Nothing better than the Beatles...
Great song !!!
Such genius, even in the supposed throwaway songs. The harmonies, the unison vocals, and the electric piano was a great touch
@Michael Furbush You can only compare Beatles music to Beatles music .... SO... I think this was their worse but you say they did not have a worse? so they were all equally good???
Which throwaway songs?
It is such a great song because Paul sings and John plays the 🎸
@Michael Furbush Completely agree--there's practically no "filler" on any of the Beatles' albums--not by our standards anyway! Maybe John, Paul, George, and Ringo considered some of these "filler" but...
It's not a keyboard? I always thought it was a keyboard
I actually got an ad about The Beatles! Anyway, ahhhh the harmonies.
The Beatles hmm...? I never met a bug I didn't like - LOLOL, LOLOL, LOLOL !
Wow UMG finally snapped
Wat u mean? Everything is completely fine. They're with Calderstone Records if you want to check it out on Wikipedia
One of the best.
Love the percussion in this one!
@Michael Furbush "That extra touch of magic" - exactly!
@Michael Furbush Ringo is a GREAT drummer. End of. xxx
@Michael Furbush Totally. I hate people who think Ringo was the luckiest person in the world. The Beatles were lucky Ringo joined. Without Ringo we would not be talking about the Beatles. That goes for any member of the band though.
@Richard Jones another FUCKING ASSHOLE .. how is Ringo STarr UNDERRATED you TWIT !??? HOW?? 90$ of rock drummer played drums because of ringo.. I guess you do not play an instrument do you ?
Millenial are you ?
You guys realize this song was NOT in the movie.. (no you had not even realized it was a clonker..
Here are the songs .. now TELL ME what song in the list is inferiors to Tell me what you see.
"Help!"
"You're Going to Lose That Girl"
"You've Got to Hide Your Love Away"
"Ticket to Ride"
"I Need You"
<------Probably one of the best of Beatles songs
"The Night Before" interspersed with excerpts of "She's A Woman" (also see below) with an explosion at the end not heard on the Beatles' commercial recordings
"Another Girl"
"She's a Woman" (heard in the background, on a tape machine, and underground in the Salisbury Plain scene)
"A Hard Day's Night" titled on the US soundtrack album as "Another Hard Day's Night" (played by Indian band and as an instrumental)
"I'm Happy Just to Dance with You" (played by a band during the bike-riding scene)
"You Can't Do That" (played as an instrumental during the Austrian Alps sequence)
"From Me To You" titled on the US soundtrack album as "From Me To You Fantasy" (played as an instrumental during scenes of attempts to remove the ring from Ringo's finger while he sleeps in the Beatles' communal apartment)
@mickavellian are you okay? Did you forget to take your meds
