Beatles, The Pepperland Comments
This song could well be from one of Studio Ghibli's movies
UM TEMA LINDISSIMO
je me sens tombé amoreux
This tune brings back fond memories of my childhood back in the early 1970's. Now I remember going to see this animated motion picture film at a theatre back in the spring of 1971 but I don't remember this theme tune Pepperland in the opening of the film. But where I do remember this theme tune was come the Fall TV season here in North America (Canada) this theme tune (not this particular recording) was used as the opening introduction and closing to movie times on Saturday and Sunday evenings. On Saturday evenings it was called "Star Cinema Time" and the following evening it was called "The Sunday Big Show" both of them, this theme tune was used.
This piece was recorded in an electric guitar version by Robertinho do Recife, and was quite popular as the soundtrack of the TV novel "O Pantanal" , in 1990 , in Brasil . Everybody thought it was his composition, but it was by none other than George Martin ! Take a look : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UPuwU58Mzw
Movie music from yesteryear.
Esperando la Torre Tesla....
Great George Martin.R.I.P.
Such a beautiful piece of music, I need to watch Yellow Submarine again some time...
I've always loved this!
Sounds like an opening to a 90s kids film
Bravo don George Martin.
i would like to have been in theaters when yellow submarine have opened in 1968 around christmas time.
AMAZING!
amo esta melodia! creci con ella...
Studio Ghibli really took notes when composing music for their stuff.
Me encanta esta melodia, cuanto daria por vivir en Pepperland :""""""""""(

When it’s not quite lime
Just listen to this track twice in a row. It will enchant you fully !
This sounds like it could be the soundtrack of a Hayao Miyazaki movie.
Lol, I was just gonna say reminds me of Kiki's Delivery Service!
@Tamara Motola exactly
Considering the amount of work GM put into each song, isn't Ringo the fifth Beatle?
Nope. Ringo was the heart of the band.
Definitely sounds like something from Super Mario Galaxy - it may have been the inspiration for it!
Feels like there's some inspration for whoever made the super mario galaxy 2 soundtrack
Pandaman Inventor was going to say the same thing. Very similar vibes here
I was thinking about that omg
Before I knew the world I listened to this as a kid. It was and still is amazing music
love it
George Martin MADE the Beatles
False, listen to their demos. They had the gift with minimal production. George was great tho.
Brian Epstein made the Beatles. George Martin certainly made their works better.
the beatles were lucky to have brian ebstein, and george martin and the emi team.
Please may I walk down the Isle to this when I get married?
After seeing the "Produced by George Martin" documentary on Amazon Prime, I became intrigued with his many talents, far beyond that of only producer for The Beatles and so many other artists. He was a gifted musician, period, and constantly used his producing, arranging and composing talents in helping other people find fame. He needs to be recognized for his own unique contributions to art, like this beautiful orchestral piece!
Sounds like the chocolate land from The Simpsons Game on the Wii
I can't believe that Sir George only composed enough music for a single album side. Maybe one day we'll have two "Yellow Submarine" albums: one for the Beatles and the other for Sir George's music...
hes big and strong and his eyes are pretty long
This song is sooooo beautiful I mean When I listen this I feel like if I was in a cloud flying and looking every city
And I also Listen to this actually because my crush said ´´I love you’’
The fact that so many books still name Side Two of Yellow Submarine as the weakest or least influential side of a Beatles album of all time only shows how far Beatles music criticism still is from a serious art. Or something
Least influential? How many feature length cartoon movies with orchestration came out since? Pleasant as an album. Trend setting as a movie.
Better than half of the songs on side one.
9 people are a bunch of idiots
As I'm getting my kids down to bed they see this movie with this bottles of chocolate milk while I'm tucking them In best Feeling ever they love the yellow submarine their only 8, 5 and 3 parenting done Right!!!!
Just beware of the Blue Meanies!
That is good parenting
Beautiful!
when did I start listening to a legend of zelda soundtrack?
What a gorgeous piece! It makes me feel Lightyears away in pepperland!
This sounds remarkably like the town music in many of the Dragon Quest games.
i love the begining of the movie cause its really pretty
George Martin, what a legend
Oh Yeah! He Sure Is A Legend For The World To US
Do You Know George Martin Had Die 2 Years Ago?
Once upon a time or maybe twice there was an Earthly Paradise known as Pepperland
That's The True Feeling About The Yellow Submarine Movie d;),','
that movie was amazing
80,000 leagues beneath the sea it lay. Or lie. I'm not really sure.
*unearthly paradise
Once upon a long ago!!!
