Beatles, The - I Want To Tell You Lyrics
I want to tell you
My head is filled with things to say
When you're here
All those words, they seem to slip away
The games begin to drag me down
It's alright
I'll make you maybe next time around
But if I seem to act unkind
It's only me, it's not my mind
That is confusing things
I want to tell you
I feel hung up but I don't know why
I could wait forever, I've got time
Sometimes I wish I knew you well,
Then I could speak my mind and tell you
Maybe you'd understand
I want to tell you
I feel hung up but I don't know why
I don't mind
I could wait forever, I've got time, I've got time, I've got time

IM HAPPU TO DISCOVER THE BEATLES
For some reason the beginning always sounds like a 90s grunge song to me
esa nota par formar un :::, esa nota piano para crear la armonía junto a .....¡¡Ahí!! ¡Ahí está..!!
Woke up with this in my head. Crystal clear and that is just a great gift ♥️
This and I Need You are two of the best early George performances. He really started to become more independent from Revolver forward.
the look ...from roxxete
One of George's best compositions.
George owned like 50% of this album
I don't think a song has ever describe better my personal feelings towards one person than this song. Thank you, George.
P.D: Sorry for my awful english hahaha
Definitely under rated, seeing as have under rated it in the past as well as others.
Another masterpiece from the best album ever made
Psychedelic realism.
I think George's song wah, wah has hints of this song.
@Ninaad Dixit in no particular way, maybe they're in the same key. Or when he sings the part (I've got time) that sounds like (wah, wah.) Not putting him down or anything remotely close to that, I'm just saying that I can hear similarities between the songs.
'It's only me it's not my mind that is confusing things'
Nice one, only if puns love me do.MMMMMMMMMMM
The way the bass just comes in is freaking great
Love ya, George —
This whole album blew me away!
Came for the melismatic fadeout, thanks
such a beautiful song George Harrison
Beatles zijn zo goed in zingen 🎤
The song is underrated but the riff is really underrated
Who drew the cover of Revolver?
Klaus Voormann
I didn’t realize that Les Dawson was the pianist on this track.
What a cracking song! George really was amazingly talented. And Paul's gorgeous melisma (Eastern/Indian inspired vocal runs) at the end of the song: surprising and perfect.
The psychedelic Beatles once they got rid of their Rhythm and Blues musical influences.
The Concert for George version of this makes me cry.
- Lead Vocals, Guitar & Handclaps: George Harrison
- Tambourine, Backing Vocal & Handclaps: John Lennon
- Bass, Piano, Backing Vocal & Handclaps: Paul McCartney
- Drums, Maracas & Handclaps: Ringo Starr
its just truth...like em or not...John its outstanding their best song Ever...before the previous best or whats to come I Want To Tell You
Every time i hear this song I cant help but think when i was 15 years old and trying to get the courage to ask my first big crush out.
Que hermosura. What a beauty
Like the up and down guitar picking intro and mid-song guitar refrain along with the Trademark Ringo sound/Ludwig drumkit. The half note/off key SOUR sounding piano melody grabs you to the side and makes for a clumsy but interesting sound that somehow fits, and much more interesting than most pop faire of the time. Harrison is at his best 'staying in his lane' when he sings tenor with a bit of that Lennon courseness, and not upper register soft or falsetto singing that some of his post Beatles stuff indicates. Bob at 64.
Another masterpiece.
2019: The Raconteurs released a song called "Bored and Razed". Talkin about influence, go listen to the intro
Revolver is my favourite Beatles album!!
Revolver and Rubber Soul are my favorite Beatle albums. To me they were at the top of their game.
gotta be one of the scariest pop songs of all time
Newbie. pretty dang good.
remixes spoil songs as they compress everything now,and that means everything is the loudest thing in the mix,,that odd E7 watever paul plays on the piano works but now its too loud and spoils the song
Great drums from RINGO
This song... This whole album! My absolute favorite!! My heart flutters.. Listening to revolver always feels like im listening to it for the first time.. That nostalgic feeling from being in middle school, my brother gave me this burned c.d. along with a hard days night. Man, that c.d. was on repeat!
Favorite of all time.
Good psychedelic rock
The Beatles changed and shaped my life forever.
Vocal sounds flat
9 MAY - YEAR OF THE DEPEND ADULT UNDERGARMENT
INFINITE JEST
Yesterday I felt A hard day's night. Today I feel Revolver. 😳
Nice one, only if puns love me do.MMMMMMMMMMM
This really might be my favorite Beatles song ever... this and strawberry take 1
Since when have so many Beatles records been ? First I've heard, They only ever wrote about 5 poor songs the rest of their catalogue is great
Like who else but the Beatles...when this came on completely engrossed...what an album.
Another harriSong
Love this song
Do they referred to Georges first Revolver song Love You To at 2:19?
Paul´s backing vocal simply amazing
Mickey Mouse on backing vocals
Was the piano being out of tune deliberate?
A lot of people say the Beatles are 'overrated'. It's not true. They are JUSTIFIABLY RATED. They're off the freakin scale in so many ways.
Keith Moon-esc drumming.
De los mejores temas 💓 2019
Its only me and not my mind
Man, these guys were 70 year ahead of everyone..
This was 53 years ago
The 2009 remix sounds too tinny and stripped of its warmth.
Really?
Compare to today's plastic, monotonous white noise ... the textures of all the instruments, the "real authentic voices" unlike the machinist toys they use now for so-called singing, and the patience to the flow of composition to let the "song breathe" .... yes, tech is great, but the the iPhone era gotta make every song fit a mold, to fit more in for the ad-revenue model, has killed music ... for the days of Dylan, Byrds, Joplin, Doors and Beatles ... I was born 10 years too late....
Paul’s contributed so unbelievably well to George’s songs
When people say something like "this song is so underrated" about a Beatles' song, what they really mean is "I just discovered this song, therefore if I didn't know about it, how could anyone else have known about it?"
Nothing about the Beatles was ever underrated!
The thing is that this song is really amazing, but with the bunch of unbelievable good songs that The Beatles have, it gets somehow overlooked. This happens to at least two songs per album.
@Amquacktador except 'Beatles for Sale,' the entirety of that album was overlooked due to "8 days a week." Imo
@Amquacktador I was very indiscriminate then; i just memorized all of them.
Are you fucking retarded? No, that's not what they mean. What they mean is that this song in particular is easily one of their top 10 most influential, but it doesn't appear on nearly any of even the top 50 lists of Beatles songs. There are several songs like that, another is Here, There and Everywhere. Probably because The Beatles had so many very catchy popular pablum-type songs to wade through and fill up the "top 100" lists, The Beatles more than anyone have songs which were massively influential and are artistically genius but don't appear on these "top 50" lists or "top 100" lists etc, i.e. in that sense are underrated as Beatles songs.
@Fennec Besixdouze It's like saying that Back to the Future 2 wasn't the best BTTF moive. I mean yeah there were two movies so much better to pick from, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a banger
There's just something about Revolver. I find myself going back and forth on which album I like best. But I keep coming back to this one. Top to bottom, just incredible. Absolutely blows me away.
I believe the keyboard track may have accidentally been inserted into this song. Not nice!
I believe you're an idiot. Not nice!
Damn you paul mccartney and your amazing bass lines!
sounds like an alternative version of Got to Get you into my life.
Because it has a similar beat? Wanna borrow a fresh set of ears for a bit?
I want to tell you
My head is filled with things to say
When you're here
All those words they seem to slip away
When I get near you
The games begin to drag me down
It's all right
I'll make you maybe next time around
But if I seem to act unkind
It's only me, it's not my mind
That is confusing things
I want to tell you
I feel hung up and I don't know why
I don't mind
I could wait forever, I've got time
Sometimes I wish I knew you well
Then I could speak my mind and tell
Maybe you'd understand
I want to tell you
I feel hung up and I don't know why
I don't mind
I could wait forever, I've got time
I've got time
I've got time
does george sing this?
you know what's amazing The wrecking Crew would use this song one year later during the Carole King Gerry Goffin written Monkees pleasant Valley Sunday..
I believe it was too the great Louie Shelton that came up with the riff simply speeding and playing this exact same introduction guitar run at a very fast clip
PERSONNEL IN THIS SONG JOHN ON PIANO PAUL ON BASS RINGO ON DRUMS AND GEORGE ON VOCALS AND GUITAR
The best Beatles album by a country mile.
Great band from England. Liverpool great football team real football. I mean original football.
2.0 speed is very good
This and Hey Bulldog are definitely the most underrated Beatles songs, as overrated as that sounds to say
Great song
テレテレテレ~♪という感じの不協和音がミスマッチ過ぎるんだけどどことなくいいんですよね。
PIENSO LO MISMO. JA,JA,JA,JA.
Not one shitty song on the entire album, each song is different and has stood the test of time...
LOS BEATLES, LO MÁXIMO .
Great !!!
vocal at the very end a real cool touch, quite unusual sounding
That bass line tho!
This song had to grow on me...But now I really appericate the sentiment of the Song!
GEORGE "MASTER" HARRISON
Great George and the Beatles song, George is outstanding, and so is Paul's bass playing, "When your near, all those words begin to slip away.."
Still think Revolver is the best Beatles album, that moment when their music began to change.
Their music changed heavily since Rubber Soul
George came up with a classic when he wrote this.
A great masteRpiece fRom a cHef D'oeuvRe of an ALBum.Love tHe vocAL aRRanGments.
George says"Booyay!!"...Mic drop
Still think Revolver is the seminal Beatles album
Agreed. I Have always said that Revolver was when we realized these Mop Tops were NOT a Fad. They grew up on this album. They were telling us something. They were growing. Musically and personally. And so we had to. The final clue to change was "Tomorrow Never Knows" by John. We had just seen the Beatles at Shea Stadium in New York City on Aug. 23rd 1966. It was Pure Beatlemania. Screams. Striped suits. Bad PA system! Pomp and circumstance for Hours leading up to a 45 minute set that cost us a whopping 5 dollars a ticket. We had NO idea that THIS eerie record would follow the concert a few months later. Nor did we know the Boys were done touring. Manilla scared them. So did Paul's car accident. They were about to lise Brian Epstein. They were looking for Escapeism in late 1966. They started to taste it on Revolver. What would come next in 1967 would turn the entire world musically on its own ear....They found their Escape from the Beatles. They ( and us ) would never be the same.
Soooo..there's 51 people that should be shot in the face?
I Want To Tell You
Taxman
Love You To
All George's and I don't which is the best there all so amazing
I'd pick this one...
You unknowingly ranked them in order, at least that's how I rank them lol
Love you to
great work by Paul doing the high vocal background
great tune. First George song I learned. It's fun to play
Loved Revolver... George 🎤🎸😢💙
