Beatles, The - Don't Ever Change Lyrics

You never wear a stitch of lace
Your powder's never on your face
You're always wearing jeans except on Sunday
So please don't ever change
Now don't you ever change
I kinda like you just the way you are

You don't know the latest dance
But when it's time to make romance
Your kisses let me know you're not a tom-boy
So please don't ever change
Now don't you ever change
Just promise me you're always gonna to be
As sweet as you are

I love you when you're happy
I love you when you're blue
I love you when you're mad at me
So how can I get tired of you
A lots of other girls I've seen
They know how to treat guys mean
But you would rather die than ever hurt me
So please don't ever change
Now don't you ever change
Just promise me you're always gonna to be
As sweet as you are

Please don't ever change
Don't you ever change
Please don't ever change
Don't you ever change (fade out)

La escuché por primera vez allá por enero febrero del 98 en el club de The Beatles en universal stereo y Enrique rojas la tradujo y me encantó "nunca cambies"

George gave essential harmony to Beatles and lead

  5. mathew gray

Is this just Paul and George I can’t her John great vocals.

    William Smyth

Yes, George with the melody, and Paul with the descant.

  6. Bobby Taylor

Paul and George only? sounds really awesome

    WhatTheGyx

They probably tried trio-ing it but just duo turned out better. It's the Beatles, they're always sure.

  7. C Synch

Is it me or is George's voice that resonates most in this heavenly triple harmony?

    GM birk

George most definitely has dynamic range, in not only this song, but every 3 part harmony they recorded. Just listen to the archive.

    Keith Stone

GM birk I completely agree and love George's voice, but this song is just George and Paul. There's no 3rd harmony from John or anyone.

    C. Syde65

Yeah. Paul's voice definitely doesn't seem to resonate as much as George's for this track. George and John (who doesn't sing in this track) generally took the lower harmonies and Paul generally took the higher harmonies, and in the Beatles' earlier tracks, the lower harmonies were generally stronger for some reason.

  8. GM birk

Dam, their harmonies were so tight. From this period all the way til the last sessions.

  9. Cândido José Silva Neto

    Wonderful

Another example of how critical harrison was to the overall sound of the beatles

    vgmastercleveland

    How so?

    roomandaroom

@vgmastercleveland This is George and Paul harmonizing -- one of the few examples. And it's beautiful. :)
