Beatles, The - Ain't She Sweet Lyrics

Oh ain't she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she nice
Well look her over once or twice
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye
In her direction
Oh me oh my
Ain't that perfection?

Oh I repeat
Well don't you think that's kind of neat?
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Well I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't that nice
Well look it over once or twice
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye
In her direction
Oh me oh my
Ain't that perfection?

Oh I repeat
Well don't you think that's kind of neat?
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Well I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?
Well I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Beatles, The Ain't She Sweet Comments
  1. Slunker

I didn't realise this was a cover until I heard the original in Bioshock Infinite

  2. Carmen Demetrio

☘️ Recorded by GENE AUSTIN in 1927 ❗️

  3. Oh Yeah Yeah

It’s amazing that they can turn ANYTHING into a rock song lol

  4. John Doe

Even the greats suck sometimes. Are the Beatles great? Heck YES!!! Their version of this song really sucks bad however.

  5. Maritza Perez Quiles

    ¿Existe video? 😄🎶🎶🎶cantando.

  6. Maritza Perez Quiles

    ¿Existe video? 😄🎶🎶🎶cantando.

  7. Joy Stinson

Great Beatles sound, playing still of old song, very early sixties sound.

  8. OaTTie

First Beatles song i have ever listened to.

  9. Kristof Frijns

Imagine being this drummer and leaving the beatles before their succes

    ddjdd wfgggb

    he was fired

  10. Listen to George's lead guitar, it's amazing. If he was not with the group i'm sure the Beatles wouldn't have been sucesfull. I know for a fact that he helped john and paul write all their songs. George was an inspiration to both of them. And Ringo was responsible for spelling corrections. The two of them could not write. Rock on George and Ringo. Now you know the truth.

  11. Xu Yang

Who is the writer of this song? Johan?Paul? or Tony?

    Sid deSloth

    Gene Austin, 1927

    Tyler Baldwin

@Sid deSloth He wasn't the writer, he was just one of many that performed the song. The real writers were Milton Ager and Jack Yellen, a songwriting duo on Tin Pan Alley that wrote many successful songs, this being one of them.

    Sid deSloth

@Tyler Baldwin ah okay, thank you

  12. BrianRocksOne

John Lennon: the voice of rock and roll

  13. nick nock

What a great song. Who's the author. Perhaps Ager

  14. Ouch Potatos

20 humans who aren't very sweet

  15. Полковник

Does Pete really play the drums here? That sounds good.

    909 678

Nope. This appears to be the "Sweetened" version which was overdubbed here.

  16. Orlando Medina

JUAN EL QUE LE CAMBIÓ UNA LETRA a los ESCARABAJOS

  17. Sh. Kal

    https://youtu.be/FE5ZYK2RvaU song it

  18. Pink Jackson

    I like this

  19. Hilal

    Goshh i love Gregory House

  20. Sergio Puccini

    so wonderful!!

  21. ederson vinicius argemiro

    Os Paul tallest that Johnn?

  22. ddjdd wfgggb

Even then paul kicked ass at bass

  23. Karl Malden's nose

Best is certainly not on this recording or My Bonnie, he was in the band at the time.

    Andres Arturo

    Jajajajajaj que imbecil eres

  24. Jesse Wayne

Lennon's voice on this one is amazing

    HotWax93

Sure is, and you can tell it's him.  I wish we could have him back.  Can we trade him for Justin Bieber, please?

    Kenneth Lee

    Jesse Zys

    anita goyal

    Ikr unbelievable

    Joy Stinson

Jesse Wayne , yep, he torn up song with his voice

    Third

@HotWax93 You can't trade John for Justin Bieber. Are you joking?

  25. Denial Number 4

6th grade year the boys in my choir did this song and we even suprised the audience by having them do kick lines! We even took a week out just to teach them how. When they did it, us girls who knew about it were crying from laughter😂😂😂

  26. James West

I close my eyes and picture them in Hamburg in 1961.

  27. Karl Malden's nose

Pete Best isn't playing on this, the drumming here was done by Bernard Purdy

    nowhereman113

Um, Karl Malden's nose, yeah...no. This was recorded with Pete Best on drums. The whole Bernard Purdue story is absurd. But thanks for watching! ✌️️

    Karl Malden's nose

nowhereman113 no its entirely correct, it's impossible to be Pete Best playing as he is not listed as even being at the recording studio the day this was recorded.
This can be proved apart from the glaringly obvious fact that pete couldn't play

    909 678

@nowhereman113 Despite the fact that this was on the anthology album, this version does appear to be the version that had Bernard Purdy overdubbing more drums. The original had no high hats and had less fills at the end.

    TL;DR
Pete Best's drumming is in this recording, but there are overdubbed drums here.

  28. harryoakley

Worst version of this 1920's tune that was ever made - but the original single is valuable so I'll keep it for the moment!

    Yesterday Productions

You're crazy and don't know anything about Rock n Roll. This version is rocking with a great rock lead vocal.

    Clementine Sun baby

i have to disagree with you there, bud. the Beatles can cover any song in the world and make it sound better than the original.

  29. Dana Navarro

That beautiful voice, That beautiful lyrics, Simply a very nice song! :')

  30. Виктор Бузина

. Some times anybody was so young like the Beatles !... Jolly times was been...

  31. Carlos Eduardo

Nowhereman113, great combination of pictures, lyrics and music. Congratulations for your videos.

    nowhereman113

    Thanks +Carlos Eduardo!

  32. i dunno but yay

+nowhereman113 thank God YouTube didn't remove this!

  33. SgtPepperChannel

I prefer Ringo's rolls to Pete's, but Pete's were faster I have to admit.

    909 678

This appears to be the "Sweetened" version which was overdubbed with a different drummer as well as the original.

  34. Walrus Real

    ooooouuh ain't she sweet???

  35. TheLuis

Oh, i love this song! nice job dude :))

    Damon Blevins

+nowhereman113 you and me have very similar likenesses of the Beatles
Check the playlists I made sometime, they're complete non-cover sagas and complete collections of "reunions"

    nowhereman113

Cool @Damon Blevins! I'll check it out. Thanks!

    Damon Blevins

+nowhereman113 tell me what you think! Btw, you wouldn't know of any solo songs other than All Those Years Ago and I'm the Greatest where three of em played and recorded? (Not like the weddings in 79 and 81) I'm pretty sure there aren't....

    nowhereman113

+Damon Blevins, Well, there's FREE AS A BIRD and REAL LOVE, of course. Otherwise I think three of them played on a couple of Jackie Lomax songs in the late sixties, but that's it.

    Damon Blevins

Yeah that's what I was thinking,
    Circles and Sour Milk Sea
I was more referring to the solo stuff
    FYI
    I have to brag,,I'm 15
