The feel they create in those versus is amazing (thanks George Martin). My favorite Millennial phrase, "The Beatles are overrated" - as they're listening to bands heavily influence by the Beatles, it kills me every time.

You have to be infected with populism to hear this group and designate them as supremely talented. They CANNOT sing! The lyrics are elementary and their proficiency with their instruments are basic. I admit that they developed into great writers but it's other artists - Aretha, Metallica, Earth, Wind & Fire, Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Andy Ellison, Bobbi Gentry - that have really brought their music to life.

Jibriyl Almuniyr you will understand them when you’re older. They we’re ahead of their time. They were fans of old school music, but with subtle new school tricks for their time. You will get it someday.

Try listening to their later stuff. Also, this is a cover. Being that this is their first album, they weren’t really trusted to write their own music, because it wasn’t the norm back in the early sixties. Later albums such as Revolver specifically really has a sense of creativity to it. It includes the first drum loop, as well as a totally different sound. They weren’t touring anymore, so they could easily use the studio to their advantage.

So, my face is red. :o I just now for the first time learned that the lyrics are "I feel upon my lips again" not "I peel apart my lips again." WHAT!?!? My version makes more sense because honey is sticky. LOL! I have seriously sung along to this song 100+ times and never knew I was singing it wrong.

Reminds me of the documentary of how The Beatles brought down the Iron Curtain in the Soviet Union because young people couldn’t buy their records there but were able to get copies of 45’s made on old discarded xrays and learned that there was a better world out there through the Beatles music.
