My standout track on the album. Not that the singles were bad. But I had to stop and play this track 4-5 times on my first listen. It just really stuck with that first listen. The vocals are very smartly delivered. Melodic yet trashy. Radio friendly and road trip worthy, but still a bit standoffish. It might be a bit formulaic (the fact every song is within 40 seconds of one another makes this obvious), but I don't think Shomo really sought out to reinvent the wheel. Not like you really can anymore.. Now it's about which wheel has the most traction. And I personally think Beartooth deserves to climb higher still. Solid stuff.

The beginning kinda reminds of The Lines off Disgusting. Wish they would have had the heavy breathing and cough leading up to the scream though. That's my favorite part in The Lines, its just so raw.

@Jack Cravford all I was trying to say was that it was sick. Just because it's extremely similar to Slayer's Raining Blood shouldn't take away from its usefulness in the song. It's timeless

But, what's the point of this breakdown anyway? In disgusting, every breakdown has a point. Like Ignorance is bliss, relapsing, i have a problem, beaten in lips, sick and disgusting. And that breakdowns are unique in genre. This breakdown is flat. Where is bass line? Disease has awesome breakdown, where i can hear, how every instrument is heavy, cause it has a huge bass line. There is no bass line. Guitars are so fucking low, without sharps, drumming is so flat. So why is this breakdown, the breakdown of the year? There is nothing like Beartooth. Just simple breakdown, from another song, from another band. I love beartooth, cause it sounds unique, with huge instruments, not copying other bands. I hate that production, no huge riffs, no bass line, no kickass drumming, just "shiny" cimbals...breakdown without a point. In overall, this song is bad. I love that hardcore punk verses, but i hate that transition to clean vocals, where i can't hear, what Caleb is saying, cause so many effects in his voice.
Man, i hate this and i don't get it. I love beartooth, cause Caleb on Disgusting doesn't use any connectors/autotune. Clean vocals are just bad. And why clean vocals, in this hardcore track? Just because radio friendly sound? I don't recognize beartooth. There is so many cuts, so many effects and it is copying other bands. Disease is just the worst record from Caleb.

@Jack Cravford I agree with most of what you're saying about the album. Every song has the same formulaic, radio friendly pattern, but I still like this breakdown because I wouldn't have expected the breakdown of this song to sound like that at all.

Hey, there is no problem with " the same formulaic". I have a problem with all these cuts, studio mastering, other producers, low down guitars, low down vocals, autotune in believe, pitch connectors..all this stuff i hate. No bass lines, no huge and unique riffs. In disgusting, there is plenty of original chaotic/grinding riffs, like from relapsing. I miss that trashy sound. This is just too clean, poppy, catchy and radio friendly.
