Bear's Den - Gabriel Lyrics

This is one of those rare songs that saw me through the eyes of my other in a moment I couldn't see past all the hurt I was experiencing. It knocked the wind out of me (which was inconvenient while at breakfast with my new roommate). But it was a paradigm shift in my mind because until then I couldn't see anything outside of my own experience, let alone anything from the perspective of the one who had hurt me so deeply.
I listen to this song at least once a day, and especially when I'm mad at the situation. Bear's Den, thanks for capturing all this in such a beautiful way. I hope your inspiration for the song had a happy resolution.

However, it is a comfort blanket of stunning quality, heartfelt from start to finish. Playing on repeat never tires. In a climate where so many artists try to capture sincerity in a music by numbers fashion, Red Earth & Pouring Rain stands proud as an album that outshines all without trying to fit in, it doesn't fit in, it simply rises with dignity above all others of late 10/10

Some people suggested that the banjo wouldn't be as central as before, in their previous albums/numbers. Auld Wives some kind of confirmed that, but Gabriel does not, fortunately :)

+Luuk Harmsen well I mean since the album isn't out it never really went away except for Auld Wives. If any of them looked at the previews they had put up there's a few songs with banjo in it.
