There's no problem with marrying one's cousin's daughter ... since I know quite a number of guys (or girls married) to their cousins; and I know no case wher the kids are disabled or so; and I think it's legal ... It's not really like being married to one's brother/sister (or a father/mother or an uncle/aunt).
However, I admit it's better to marry with somebody totally out of the family, when possible

I know Brian used pro session drummers and musicians for recordings! I think that move ultimately was a mistake in the long run cause the actual Beach boy musicianship was excellent.I don't see a damn thing wrong with Dennis's drumming in this song. His timing is good and he has a distinctive sound!

Brian recorded albums such as Pet Sounds with "The Wrecking Crew" whilst the rest of the band were touring ... makes sense ... then they came back & laid down the vocals ,..

Brian picks a sour note at 0:21. Maybe that helped him decide to quit the performance end of The Boys and concentrate on producing them????? 11-23-18

Because he played that solo on the Jaguar on the record. Although there were full; concerts where he played the Rickenbacker. (Live in Chicago)

They wanted Dennis to be in the band and as he couldn't play an instrument they bought him a drum kit. He managed give a reasonable show of knowing what he was doing but was not good enough to play on the records hence Hal coming in.
