Ich habe dieses schwungvolle Lied im Jahre 1994 mit meinen englischen Mitbrüdern in Chevilly la Rue bei Paris gesungen. Es war damals eine sehr lustige Stimmung. Gerne denke ich noch an diese Zeit zurück. Gelegentlich singe ich dieses Lied heute im Jahre 2019 noch.

My Ma, worked at a restaurant that closed in the early 70’s. As a child in the 80’s, she gave my brother and I the box of 45’s that they gave her from the box, when they closed.

Used to play this one over and over as a child on the fisher price record player...

Seriously considering it as one of my funeral numbers. Have love this since I was a 15 year old kid. 67 now, and still own it as a part of my existence, My sister bought the 45 for me for my 15th birthday. It's a part of me.

When I was in Iraq my closest buddy and I would play this song over and over to make light of our current situation. It lifted our spirits until it got to; "This is the worst trip I've ever been on." Then we got depressed again. It still holds sentimental meaning to me.
