Beach Boys - She's Got Rhythm Lyrics
Last night I went out disco dancing
Saw a foxy girl out on the floor
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need
Before you know it, what do you think
The music started playin'
Oo the music got us so excited
And we had to get up on our feet
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need
The place was near closing, I offered to take her home (take her home)
But she was with someone and left me alone
Oo I know I never will forget her
And I hope I get to see her again.
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need (never will forget her)
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need (never will forget her)
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need (never will forget her)
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need (never will forget her)
She's got rhythm, she's got something I need (never will forget her)
Hey hey
Hey hey
Hey hey
Never will forget her

I SELL THE ALBUM 33T https://www.vinted.fr/enfants/cd-dvd-son/370653145-the-beach-boys-miu-album
Don't get the hate over the MIU Album, there are some really good songs on here. "She's Got Rhythm" and the cover of the Del-Vikings hit "Come Go With Me" are forgotten classics. Even "Winds Of Change" is a highly underrated ballad having Mike and Al singing lead.
One of their best!

I love the beach boys
The last time a Beach Boys recording featured Brian's falsetto as the lead voice.(I have since been corrected: "In My Car" 1989 features a lot of Brian's 47 year old falsetto in a shared lead with Carl).
@Cutty I tend to agree. Foskett is not listed on the album credits, for one thing. I also recall the Beach Boys lip-syncing to this on a TV show and Brian mimed the part. That proves nothing of course.
@Gene Casey what about "In My Car"? he kind of used his falsetto in that one didn't he?
@steve donahue Absolutely. Good call!!
@Gene Casey he doesn't use it for the whole song but yeah lol his vocals for that song go up and down in the strangest way....its the best song off of still cruisin….weird song off a weird album
@steve donahue Yes he does he falsetto quite a bit ...the recording is a bit of a mess, with that of-the-times production ruining an interesting chord sequence and melody. Thanks for bringing to my attention, though.
The intro of Crazy Little Thing Called Love sounds like the ''da da da da' melody on this.
This is a really good song! To lead off miu. I used to own this on vinyl, thinking it was a priceless rarity lol
This one and Match Point Of Our Love. The lyrics aren't the best but the music is great.
Always wondered how Brian sounded so good on this album after his hoarse, raspy voice on '15 Big Ones' & 'Love You'.. obviously a much more 'produced' album, where he was made to smoke less, do more takes etc.
One reason is Mike and Al pushed Brian to sing "like his old self". Brian actually LIKED his raspy "manly" voice and expressed embarrassment over "those old falsettos" in the 1976 Rolling Stone interview.
@Gene Casey Likewise with Denny. Compare a song like This Car Of Mine with River Song. As the late Rick James put it, "Cocaine is a hell of a drug!" =D
Brian had laryngitis during the recording of 15 Big Ones and instead of letting his voice heal he strained it to record which carried into Love You and subsequent touring for those albums from 1975-77, by '78 his voice had slightly recovered for the recording of MIU, hence the better leads
