B.B. King - Hold On Lyrics
Turn out the light, sleep won't come
I think about what's going wrong
Lying so close, so alone
Please turn to me, I'm almost gone
Hold on, please don't let me disappear
Hold on, there's time to rearrange things
Hold on, I'm not me without you here
Put out your hand, touch desire
Where there's a spark, could be a fire
Open your arms, let me see
If there's still love in you for me
Hold on, please don't let me disappear
Hold on, there's time to rearrange things
Hold on, I'm not me without you here

My fave song by Mr. King 🔥👏😍💯
AthenaKama I like it too.Very much.
Power, control and great energy...and I'm talking about BB's superb voice on this...his guitar playing sings for itself...wonderful performance.
Pity he could have held on a little bit longer especially towards the end too short
My favourite when I was a kid. NOT DRUNK
i like the very phasery funky second guitarist
The song was covered by Joe Cocker on his 1984 album "Civilized Man".
I was looking for that song weeks... Thanks!

I abosolutely adore this song, and yet I can never find it in the stores. How this song didn't get bigger, I just don't know.
One of the best live performances you'll ever have the fortune of seeing. Lucille gets rung on this one.
Awesome!
Hoe kan iemand na zijn 80e nog zo goed zijn?
Beautiful Man, Beautiful Sound. A new tune for me. You never stop learning, it costs nothing to be nice, try it and bang your gong. Happiness all.
my middle finger is up to the five 5 people that dont like this song
Mattea bruce same
Oh yes. Santana calls BB Kings tone and approach a great example of "the sound of the collective consciousness". That's a wonderful way to put it.
that is one sweet fucking sound.
goosebumps
because if being popular was b.b kings goal you'd never know him.
He's called BB King for a reason.
He is Absolutely true talent:)
@ROBDAROKA17 those goddamn ants wont watch youtube
@DanteWolfwood yea i think your right man =)
@oOderTypOo It's not that he CAN'T play them at the same time, it's just that his philosophy was to either give 100% to playing lucille or giving 100% to singing.
What a legend...no words really
Cool Guitar Cool Voice = COOL!
i think he cant play and sing at the same time but when he plays its so dam awesome! <3 ich want to play guitar like this guy
That vibrato is beautiful
@scouselad1991 the names album is lucille talks back of 1975

Gotta love the wrong notes at the beginning. It gives off a sense of authenticity. B.B. King has always been my favourite blues player.
BB did this song with the Crusaders live with a full orchestra. This version is good, but that version is great.
beautiful blues
genuinely my favourite song of all time, and I like almost every genre. Bob Dylan to Jeff Buckley, Son House to 50 Cent, Al Green to Arctic Monkeys, but this song by B.B certainly tops them all.
I recall being at many of these '70s OGWT sessions because a friend of mine was a technician at the time in the studio.
It was a great era when so many fine acts passed throught the studio.
This session together with Freddie King & Lowell George were superb.
Thank you for the film clip.
@JoeFarmerFarndonJr
Yes, i've read that also..my opinion is that shredders may master the three chord sequence but the FEEL is more important in any music.
It's all cold, neo-classical ramblings with them. Clever but tedious after 5 mins.
If we check any ACCURATE '100 Best Guitarists' polls it's always the BLUES players that come out on top...even Hendrix . The shredders come way below.
Joe Walsh said that Albert King could melt Van Halen with his amp on STANDBY>
Absolutely emotive - truly one of the greats.
groso.....
watching this now on bbc 4
this is why i love bbc 4
easily one of the greatest sings created in my books, and such an amazing performance by such an amazing man.
The way each chorus runs into a little guitar piece is just sublime.
One note is all you need if it's the right note, played with soul.

Amazing....
That is the best guitar tone I've heard in my entire life, his voice has got a really deep beautiful quality too.
