I went to see the Stones in Philadelphia during that tour. Given the chance to go back to that time, I Think I would have gone to this Muddy Waters show in Chicago instead.

Wow. Super. And it looks like The Rolling Stones were happy just listening to Muddy Waters. Funny thing, both The Roloing Stones and the Beatles and a number of other British rock musicians were inspired by, deep fans of, American Blues musicians. How amazing it must have been to get to play together with their heroes and inspirations. That is the thing about music. When you love it, it can bring you together and let you share in a way that few things can. Great stuff.

Van Morrison and his band Them recorded this song back in 1965(?). My favorite version, after Muddy Waters. Waters inspired them all.

I think Mick should have put more of his lungs to use considering the electric brough a lot of gain and power to the show. I mean if Muddy is mellow his band is swingin Keith is laying down fire, I think Mick should have wailed a bit more for the sake of blues
