It is only me, or the Intro sounds like BURN from The Sisters of Mercy? I mean, sound similar. Also, in the demo from BURN (SOM) sounds like the voice of Peter Murphy. Just crazy!

@Bo The Goth Hi, it was Peter Murphy. 40 years of Bauhaus. Just him and David j from the original line up. He came back on stage expecting to start singing something else. But the band started playing this - bonus! Think he does long residencies in the USA. Have a check. Cheers

@Jacob Simpson Standard tuning. F Sharp ( G Flat Major whatever you want to call it) and F Major for the verses. While using the open E string for the low notes. So that is the 2nd fret bar chord and 1st fret bar chord with open E string for the low note.
And Chorus is A major power chord. 5th fret bar chord. Use 5th fret high strings B,G,E alternating with the A major power chord. And 7th fret D,G,B for end of chorus phrases. If you can understand that.......enjoy ;)

Psych, Prog and nuveau-Cabaret/Glam bands of the 70s explored many historical styles and melded them - Bauhaus repackaged them into identifiable sounds - in the 90s many bands picked one of these sounds and made careers of them. Which is why people calling Bauhaus goth always seems kinda wrong to me. A chunk of their stuff is reggae beats too, for eg.

FruitCakeReaper LOL that's funny, although that was the first Bauhaus CD I bought lol. Completely fell in love with them, then bought all the albums, as well as Gotham and Shadow of Light / Archive.

Own all of Peter Murphy's solo records too. I love that man's voice!
