So tempted to hit the Oct 9 show. I haven't been to any show in years.

Less metal, more hard-rocky, shout to Sambora at the beginning (because Jon sucks, but Ritchie is a legend)... They really went for the 80s / early 90s vibe in this album, even incorporating synths here and there. It's obviously on purpose, and the end result is musically great. Truhardcorersfromhell won't like it, but it's spot on for what the band wanted. Props for them for following their own project instead of whatever image others might have of them. This album has just actually convinced me that they're a band worth following, just like Unia did for me with Sonata Arctica.

In my opinion the weakest track of the album. Oh well, they all can't be great, can they?

Second weakest after Summer

@blindg True, Summer was a skippable song as well.

Don't quit your day jobs yet. If this and "Endless Summer" were single tunes you hear from radio, or in a night club or something, they would be quite hit material. When people listen a Battle Beast album they expect heavier power metal with raspy singing, so of course those people will go "WTF is this?" But this is actually very good and catchy melodic metal.
