I heard Battle Beast live, lately at Geiselwind, Germany (they gave their show prior to Sabaton). I didn't know Battle Beast before, but they sound really great!

"August 19th Nitte sent the rest of the band an e-mail stating that she was leaving the band, effect immediately. As the reason for her leaving she recited her will to focus on her family life. As this happened without any prior notice, the rest us were slightly disappointed.

That's what makes Battle Beast so amazing, they have found 2 real metal singers who just happen to be women. The scene has come so far since Doro and Lita Ford and Joan Jett and false metal like Pat Benatar.
Women have always had the range, now they have found the tone. Battle Beast is proof of that!
Extremely similar to Judas Priest's song "Painkiller", but that's not a bad thing, and Battle Beast are awesome children spawned by classic metal fathers like that.
Yes I miss Nitte Valo but Noora smokes vocally on the album and seems to be holding up well live too. She's evidently the "one" for them, who can handle the touring and the schedule and keep soldiering on.
We were sad when Bruce Dickinson replaced Paul Di'Anno in Iron Maiden, too, but looking back 20 years later... ;)
