Basil, Toni - You Gotta Problem Lyrics
Pity you,
you're telling me you gotta problem,
a nasty kind of reaction,
a dangerous sword of destruction.
That makes it difficult,
takes it all away,
from what you had in mind.
Yeah yeah yeah
But there's one big fat point
that you seem to be missing.
and it's driving you to distraction,
but doesn't seem to stop you in the least,
or halt this obsession that's got you going back,
day after day, (day after day)
hour after hour, (hour after hour)
from where you can
from more the same
yeah yeah yeah.

Super 2019! 👍🏻 Toni Basil!
UNBELIEVABLE SONG!
bought the album when it was released and still have it. I thought she did a great job.
So did i such a different and exciting album for its time and still stands up now
great instrumentals.
Not bad, but the Devo original "Pity You" is still a little better ....
Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I think she did a great job. Devo having a female "pitch" to it. :D Wonder what happens if she actually joined the band...hmm...
I read that Devo was actually the backing band on this track and the other Devo covers she did.
Devo backed Basil on their 3 songs she covered. Her version of this one actually predates Devo’s, meaning that it *is* the original.
@morganfitzp Yes, but devo probably made the song originally, but only released after toni basil
bought this on its first release still love it today xx
