Actually also want to throw in theres also a couple of Bikini Kill trks that this and some other songs of hers remind me of when hearing her voice. Before anybody goes jumping down my throat let me say that it’s just similar to the way it sounds/reminds me of Kathleen Hanna’s voice when giving off that spoken tone of hers during certain verses of a few songs I’ve heard of hers so far. Just the tone I guess. And NO, I’m not saying in anyway that Courtney Barnett sounds anything like Bikini Kill. Just so any/everybody understands that before whoever goes and jumps the gun, okay?! Just a couple of Bikini Kill trks I used to love so long ago that Barnett’s just reminds me of in how Hanna sounded when singing those is all. Gotta say, I’m pretty intrigued. Cant believe I’ve haven’t heard of this woman yet up til now. She’s got a great sound!
