Getting back into this wonderous process of BNL and totally forgot about the near rhyme genius of my favorite song. I rediscovered 7 songs and can't believe that I went without Alcohol. This is the most underrated and underappreciated group in the history of humanity.

I suppose I did lie there. I've drunk the stuff - cheapo wine more specifically. Just never got shitfaced. Got a brief 10 min buzz on my first time, but that's it. Never drank beer. I hear it tastes like dirty socks. lol

Also, it's not like I'm judging. the guy's patheticness is shown all throughout the lyrics.

It's kinda like music or video games - you gotta try different genres - in the case of beer, different styles - to find the kind that suits you. Once you've established a "base", you can start exploring what (in this case tastes) right to you. I've had IPAs that have hints of apricot, peach and even pineapple, and I loved those, despite not really liking bitter things.

I've been dry off and on for the better part of two years after not having a dry day for ten years, minus a week in 'rehab'. This song reminds me of how much fun and pain that time was, and how easy it'd be to go back to random couch crashing, finding something or someone else to love and forgive me, and how easy it was to wake up, listen to 'Hello City' and do it all again.
