I sure wish those that trash her work would have credentials to do so....She is as good as it gets and there will never be this level of talent in voice for generations....Just pay tribute to someone that is making #1 records into her 70's.  Show some respect. If those that have the credentials cannot say one bad thing, then you might want to produce the tickets to judge!

I remember when she was pushing A star is born, she was interviewed (a full hour on 20/20) by Barbara Walters and when Walters asked her how she fills singing material that is so new to her

Guess what, she is, with Stevie Wonder that BTW is the worst track in the CD, even worst that the one with her son Jason

I just read about this new album of Barbara Streisand. Duets with other Great male singers. No doubt it is going to be a real Shlager of an album. Thank you Barbara Streisand for the magical nostalgic music you have produced over the last 6 decades. Its incredible that Barbara is 71 years old yet STILL has her strong pure voice that she had as a 20 year old! A true Legend. No one produces more nostalgic music than Barbara Streisand. Ever seen the audience in a live concert of Barbara Streisand? - They are all sucking their thumbs like babies LOL.

Barbara I love you and so does my Sister and My dearly beloved Mother. I think this song with Elvis is incredible. You sound still as beautiful as you always have. I hope I can see you in concert one day if you are still doing them. Somehow, you just feel connected to certain people, you are one of these people for me. :)

Amazing album! The duets are one great one after another.  But, I must say her son's voice, Jason Gould, is simply breathtaking.  Alongside Barbara the two voices are incomparable in today's music industry.  Yes, he should have shared his voice with us many years ago.  

After listening to these duets! I ordered the album. My husband and I both enjoy the songs.

I like her singing duos with Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.  As you noticed Barbara Streisand usually overpowers and outshines most guys she sings with except these two.

Wow! My goosebumps have goosebumps!

Sends chills up my spine.  I'm a NYer, grew up on Barbra, no one else comes close; love these songs and all the artists.

Many of the selections send chills up my back. Her voice remains almost as strong
as in the early years. You can see a lot of thought and love when into  this new recording.

Her voice is as a pure diamond . Love her sins always , my favorite is People ,

The only interesting part is Stevie Wonder singing People. Bland and mannered singing by all. I loved Streisand in the 60's but that was a different, less self-conscious singer.

Amazing, she just gets better year in, year out. No finer singer that this lady. Her don is a natrual as well.

SIMPLY BARBRA DIVA OF ALL TIME VOICE OF ANGEL ME .................. I get emotional every time I hear BARBRA ...

It seems clear this was recorded through an extended period of time. Her voice sounds so irregular and even though most of the songs work beautifully as duets, Barbra's performance is not Always good, being the lowest point (sadly) The Way We Were. She sounds tired, weary , dull. Lionel Richie doesn't help much either. LOVE  Bocceli, Mayor and Babyface's duets. It Had To Be You, clearly Stands Out , though.

She sounds OUTSTANDING for her age. Proves that age is nothin' but a number. So stoked & thrilled for this album. What an extraordinary collection of talent.

So many people don't understand what voices do when they age....Streisand is 72 years old and her voice is un-comparable to anyone else of that age.  We are all very lucky to live in a time to hear this magic.  Stop comparing it to her earlier work.  Just be grateful that she is still producing impeccable work.

I think she had a cold during these recording sessions, which at times there is a grating sound to her voice. My favourite is the Bocelli's duet, " I See Your Face " 

She tends to have a slight rasp to her higher chest voice notes. It's developed over the past 10 years. It is more apparent on her live recordings, but seems to appear a lot less in the recording studio. 

I love the Lionel Richie duet. Also love the Buble track.

@Jason Mikhail Poe But what do you think it is then? Many say age. But she has stated that she never does scales or vocal conditioning. This is essential for every singer. She only "warms up" when doing a recording or concert. 

If she doesn't keep her voice in shape and only warms it up the month before the concert, it is like preparing for a triathlon by doing 10 jumping jacks. It takes a toll and there are only so many times you can come back from that. Being in the studio, combined with her amazing breath capacity and control, this is her best singing in decades. And I do not mean auto-tune. Her in the studio, just singing, not trying to project across a stadium.    

@David Medina I sang for 20 years, professionally. Don't get to sing much at all these days, however, it only takes 15 minutes of remembering breathing technique , getting comfortable...and it's back, it's ALL back! Range, strength, so indeed it is possible.
