Band, The - The Last Waltz Suite: Out Of The Blue Lyrics
Out of this world, out of this mind
Out of this love for you
Out of this world, out of the blue
Out of this love for you
You're like someone else
But that's all right
I'm a stranger here myself
She don't shed a tear
When I walk out that door
She knows, she knows
I'll be coming back for more
Out of this world, out of this mind
Out of this world, out of the blue
Out of this love for you
Well, it's in the cards
It's written in the stars
It's in the wee-wee hours
In some lonely bar
She don't stay up all night
And walk the floor
'Cause she knows damn well
I'll be coming back for more
Out of this world, out of this mind
Out of this love for you
Out of this world, out of the blue
Out of this love for you
For you, you, you
For you, you, you
For you

Great sound Out of Blue ...The Band Classic rock Canidian Band
Best song Robbie ever did. Top twenty song of all time
One of the best songs ever.
If the song suited him his vocals were fine.
One of my favourite songs.
❤️ Beautiful ❤️
Outstanding tune. Hauntingly beautiful. Another timeless classic from The Band.
I once dedicated this song to a trusted friend
One of the most beautiful songs they ever did. Every part of it is perfect. Garth, as usual, performs miracles.
Made from Canada
This was the gorgeous, haunting, last track of the double vinyl set but yes omitted from the DVD so thanks youtube for finally reuniting us.
My favourite Band song. Blue Rodeo does a decent cover.
It may be sacrilege, but I love the Blue Rodeo version more.
There goes the myth that the microphone was turned off when Robbie sang in The Last Waltz. He was a decent singer. Not as good as Levon, Rick, and Richard but he could sing.
Subtleblunt Duality Very true. He’s not the best singer but he can sure as hell hold a tune. He knew he had 3 of the best singers in rock history in The Band, so he wrote the songs for them.
he suck as hell as a singer ... Everybody medium singer can do it ... This song do not have it place in the last waltz . Suck

STUNNING AND ESSENTIAL !!!!
I am one of the worst "Robbie can't sing" naysayers anywhere on the internet and this cut is an absolute jewel....to read a hilarious duel of words between me and a Danko-bashing, Robbie-is-God moron, read the comments under "Barry Solan" on this full-concert posting...the concert without RR, is well worth your time...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iITeEPihXDA&fbclid=IwAR1QD1lpX4PwOMDZgyWS74MhEeiYGbBKznQ8Z2rJUK75RY2NknCh0KlzZrk
Love the harmonies in this. Less is more. Sublime.
Best Vocal Robbie ever did in his Career
I think I agree. I also thank Rick Danko for his beautifully-placed vocals. You don't really hear Rick's part unless you're listening for it, but it supports and accents Robbie's vocal exactly how a second singer should do. Rick Danko was a rare singer, and I mourned his passing.
Robbie.
Robbie sings?
Shame..
@Mick Latham --- no question.
Accordion, Organ, Saxophone, Synthesiser: Garth Hudson
Drums, Mandolin: Levon Helm
Keyboards, Piano: Richard Manuel
Bass: Rick Danko
Guitar, Piano, Vocals: Robbie Robertson
Composer: Robbie Robertson
Stephen Wilden it’s Robbie
Yeah but with overdubb and harmonizer ! The guy cant sing just listen him his whole solo career and on stage during last waltz ^^
Can't get enough of The Band. Thank You.
Hidden gem of The Band. Perfectly fits to a rainy night.
I dedicate this song to my friend Tala
Not in the movie :(
Sad, that.
Know where to find full concert footage?
@Jake W check out the website for run by the tv channel APTN Aboriginal Peoples Network. They aired it recently
