Bananarama - Only Your Love Lyrics
Angel divine
With you by my side
I can do anything I want to
I'll sacrifice
For you I'd lay down my life
We all need somebody
You know I need somebody
No one has to feel alone
We all need some love
You know I need your love
To break these chains around my soul
Only your love
Can free me
Can ease me
Only your love
I need it
Only your love
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Heat of the flame
That burns in your name
Got to got to got to believe it
Angel of love
Descend from above
Come on and shine your light on me
We all need somebody
You know I need somebody
No one has to feel alone
We all need some love
You know I need your love
To break these chains around my soul
Only your love
Can free me
Only your love
Can ease me
Only your love
I need it
Only your love
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
We all need somebody
You know I need somebody
No one has to feel alone
We all need some love
You know I need your love
To break these chains around my soul
Only your love
Can free me
Only your love
Can ease me
Only your love
I need it
Only your love
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go
Never let me go
Let me go

I love everything Bananarama and this video gave me Madonna Express Yourself vibes!!!
Great track. Like others have said there's a big nod to Sympathy for the Devil by the Stones in here but that's not a bad thing in this case.
Naranananana...hhhhh love it
Stone Roses and Primal scream
Fools Gold and Loaded 💙
I don’t NEED someone.
This has got to be among the sexiest music videos ever without crossing the line into smuttiness. And the record absolutely rocks. This was when I finally bought a Bananarama album. Their latest, "In Stereo," is on repeat for me these days.
Some samples in this track for sure.
Rolling Stones. K C and the Sunshine in there for sure.
....well, it looks like the 'Nanas REEALLY liked Madonna's "Express Yourself" music Video! ....ha-HAA!! ...Oh well, at least Jacquie looks fab with the 60's Bob, in the close-ups... : )
for me, the best bananarama period ever, even better than the 1983-1986 time. I love these tunes. And they look at their sexiest, the music is fresh and edgy
Karen is Beautiful!💖
How on Earth did this not get to number one????😱
jackie looks more happy than other videos.
And prettiest Aldo, I think
also, I mean...sorry!
Sounds a bit like a girl group mixing Madchester beats with a bit of Rolling Stones "Sympathy For The Devil" thrown in. Great track, which should have done a lot better than it did.
This should have been #1
super coooooooooollll
Adjust the Pitch level to +2 and listen to this. They are really good vocalists but they record their music as if they are a choir of 3 so if you don't do this, it playsback slower and you can't hear the high notes which is where Karen Lives, Land of the Highnotes
Nice make-up.
3:01 Clumsy boob zoom
My only regret is not coating SIOBHAN in hundreds of loads
Great song except the chick who replaced Siobahn was SHIT...especially her weird face at the very end
Keren Woodward ♥ only your love.
Haven't heard this for years
i was 10 or 11 when this song came out,i was so inlove in blondee lol
yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
Why every Bananarama's video from "London Recordings" is bad encoded (jerking frames, poor quality, black boxed)? every single one, specially "Only your love" and "Venus" videos, what a crap... Is youtube forcing you to do so?
A national.fucking. scandal. that this was not a top 5 single in the U.K. I remember being shocked the first time I heard it at the godlike genius of it. They looked the coolest and most beautiful they EVER had. They got the front cover and single of the week in the NME. All the credibility and the commercial coverage they could have hoped for. And what happened? No 27 and the beginning of the end 😔Just can't understand it
Think they weren't really related to this type of sound in people's minds
They look like the coolest girl group ever with their shades on! Legends
Exactly! They are Goddesses!
It was a shame Jacquie didn't stay with the group for long, this song and the Pop Life album as a whole was sublime.
Jacquie was completely fucked
Jacquie deserves the die in the gutter for how stupid she looks at the very end--disgusting sweaty pig she is
This is Bananaramas best single by a mile.
smck 2016 agree sad Jacquie Didnt stay
FANTASTIC VIDEO AND SONG!!!
their best post-Siobhan single IMHO. should have been a huge hit.
@David Allan The whole album, Pop Life is, in my opinion, their strongest LP and should have been a much bigger hit than it was. The 4 singles drawn from it- this song, Preacher Man, Long Train Running and Tripping On Your Love are fantastic as are non-album tracks like Megalomaniac and Is Your Love Strong Enough. The 2-disc/DVD reissue is well worth investigating if you don't own this great record already.
J 'adore. !
