I have been a fan of Joan Baez, since I was 20 years old, I am now nearly 77, I have seen her live three times, and have many of her cd's. Her music has travelled with me through my life, and I am still touched to my core, when I listen to it. Thank you Joan.

I love when I totally forget about an artist for a period of time. It's like discovering them all over again. What a gorgeous voice and an unbelievable talent.

A beautiful , haunting confession , incredibly well accompanied by melody that is a masterpiece itself - and leaving everybody uneasy. For that love was impossible to be happy. It certainly was one-sided. The young , testosterone loaded male , at the top of his prime , creative . successful , predatory and hungry , seeking challenges , simply was not interested in some romantic happy ending. His whole life he was an egocentric , observer , analyzer of feelings , attitudes , changes , and promoter of his own ego. She was "heading straight for the fall". And so bravely she tells us , that there ARE diamonds in all that rust . So... may be she got our love in exchange for her young infatuation.
