Badfinger - Nothing To Show Lyrics

Boy, it's risin'
Temperatures risin'
All day long
All I wanted was a sunny afternoon

Oohpo sloopo
Tryin' to look two peoples
All seems wrong

People workin'
And they say you'll get there soon

Nothing to show for the hard work
Nothing to show for the time we've spent

Nothing to show for the hard times
Nothing to show for the way we've spent
Yeah heh

  3. J.... R....

Good stuff but why did they do the Harry Nilsson version of "Without You" instead of the Pete Ham/Tom Evans version since this is a tribute to "Pete Ham"!

    J.... R....

James Russell it’s ok. Pete Yorn is here singing too

  4. P.... F....

The Apple of my eye! Thank you! Where can I buy this DVD, anyone?

  7. K.... ....

I won't even give out the names that sang a version of Without You that wasn't Badfingers version and stripped the song of it raw passion. That wasn't a tribute to Pete, it was just another person profiting on his genius. What an insult for them to play that version at a tribute concert for Ham.

After learning about the group and its history just feel so sad-angry at same time talented bunch that had tough times plus loss of two members, miss them and this band.
You are not forgotten by me, one of my bands covered couple of songs for tribute the crowd loved it!!!

Wow - many lost and hidden gems like "Apple Of My Eye," "Dawn" and "Hand In Hand."  I would have really enjoyed attending this show!

  22. r.... ....

Great job setting this up, Dan Matovina ! Seems everyone was really into it. Check out those smiles in the last three songs with everyone onstage.

  23. w.... p....

I don't get it? On "Day After Day" there  was no drums, bass or keyboards??? The song would have sounded awesome! Don't get me wrong, these guys are good.

    w.... p....

maybe he was taking a rest ( I don't know the order of the songs) ? For sure would have sounded so much better, pity, still...even in a tribute....guess its not the 1st time Badfinger has suffered a misfortune or set back... nevertheless the event well rather well. Would have liked to see a bit more of Maybe Tomorrow. Anyway, my thanks to all the performers and people for making this video
