Badfinger - Maybe Tomorrow Lyrics
Listen to a lonely sound. See the grey and sadness all around
See the people go their way. Care not of me and love I've lost today
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
And so I'm living for a dream. Each lonely day spent looking for the sunshine
I'll make believe that I don't care. I'll tell my friends I love my life, I'm happy
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
Shine through the window of my heart
Then when you've coloured all my thoughts bright
Don't let me ever ever think of night, no-oo yeah!
Maybe tomorrow you will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
Maybe tomorrow you will love again
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
Maybe tomorrow you will love again

I love this song..
정말 좋아하는 밴드이며 정말 좋아하는 노래입니다
Baroque pop perfection worthy of The Bee Gees best late 60s offering. Brilliant.
2019 ???
What about it?
So not worth what they did!! Their precious lives and changes to trade off over such pittance!!
don't think so,,
Cant find it on Spotify..
It's there, in "Magic Christian music" album
RIP..such a wasteful tragedy. But happy there is youtube to view all my favourite singers and musicians!
What a handsome man with a beautiful voice......RIP xx
Great welsh band
This is pre-Badfinger (The Iveys). Seen standing together are Pete Ham, Ron Griffiths and Mike Gibbins. Tom Evans is singing lead.

君をさらってゆく風になりたいよ
Love this song. Played this several times with my guitar in November 1969. A couple weeks later I flew to USA from Philippines straight to ‘Boot Camp,’ in San Diego, CA. Then follows along my Vietnam War personal history. “Thank God I survived.//henry
RIP my dear friend....you were an unappreciated legend.

Wow I love this song, first time I've heard this. I wish I was born in the 60s
Una historia desgarradora quizás entre todos pudimos haberlo evitado pero los humanos somos egoístas
Badfinger...shooting stars.....unforgetable music...god bless their memory!
#tom evans.
Joey sucks big time. Rest in peace, Tom.
I pray he is at peace. I saw the sadness in his eyes while singing this song.Their tragic story is hard to forget .
Sadness
Badfinger!!! Best ever!!!
Sweet guy. So very talented. Be at peace now, dear Tom.

Evans y Han .. Lo maximo
Remember them in early 70s as Badfinger, great band and great songs. 😘
Ouvindo em MMXVIII
A newer Badfinger fan here! I’m 20 years old but I think I first listened to them when I was 17 baby blue of course. During that time I only knew that song so it took me a while to listen to more songs it wasn’t till like 18-19 years old where I started listening to all the albums. Each album have amazing songs and it’s so sad because Badfinger has become one of my most favorite bands. To Tom Evans & Pete Ham. Truly amazing song writers, they are missed but I’m glad they left us with so many great songs RIP
Tom & Pete were truly an immensely underrated duo. The songs they were able to write is just down right amazing and I see that people do regard them as good as the Beatles and I honestly see it and some songs like this one & Without You show incredible song writing that even The Beatles didn’t have.
Great music ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Love when Tom smiles.
Great song, terrible camera work.
What a great mix Ham and Evans!
I've never heard this song b4 but it's Awesome🥀🦋🥀
😢😭
The iveys

Happy Birthday, Tommy Evans
Born 71 years ago today on June 5, 1947
MITICI !!!!
Rest in Peace Tom Evans / GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN !!
Way too sad to listen to sometimes because of their tragic deaths. They wrote such awesome songs together. Prob one of the saddest stories Ive ever heard.
What an amazing song and such a tragic story.
Badfinger's story is a really sad and tragic one we all know that if we're Badfinger fans. Now onto the music they made in their tragically short career. It's some of the best music ever made and will stand up tall for generations after generations of people young and older alike. They're as good as The Beatles themselves to me. Tom and Pete had something really beautiful and amazing and full marks to Joey and Mike too. The four of them together is magical music. I feel that had success eluded them they would still be with us today. It was the greed of management and the pressures of the business that made Pete lose his mind and Tom's suicide followed because he was really lonely and upset without Pete Ham.
Benjamin Blake Mitchner. He also had financial issues like being sued for 5 mil and a terrible fight with Joey over royalties for Without You, I think the day he died. He was a depressive also anyway, and yes, he never got over Petes death.
Thanks to their manager Stan Polley who took Badfingers money and stopped them making music for 2 yrs the guys were broke although they sold millions worldwide with their hit Baby Blue, that prick took everything from them so i hope he is rotting in hell... r.i.p Pete & Tom 💙
Bij dit nummer denk ik steeds terug aan mijn grote liefde die ik ben verloren
such a beautiful song. Thanks Tom Evans for treating us with a really good song, You and your music will be remembered by many for a long time. RIP
I just love Tom's high pitch, screaming. Wish there would have been more of these. RIP sweet man!
lovely song xx
Tom Evans was such a talented man. RIP Tom and Pete. I know you guys are making great music in heaven above.
Lov it.RIP Tom.
What a great group. I love them.
Tom has a voice. Wow.
What year was this song written and released?
Released in 1969. Unsure of when it was written for certain.
Absolutely love this video and love this song. The concept had me giggling a bit though. Pete, Ron and Mike in the back - seeming a bit unsure of what they were supposed to be doing when the camera focused on them (and Tommy laughing at himself a bit.) Rest peacefully, Tommy. That unfortunate anniversary will be upon us again soon.
Happy 70th BDay Tom Evans! (June 5th 1947 - Nov 19th 1983) RIP
Such a waste and a shame.Badfinger were one of my fave bands of all time and i could weep every time i think of or see Tom and Pete performing.. I have performed a number of their great songs over the years in various bands i\ have played in and it still brings a lump to my throat ( and i'm coming up on 60 )
They were absolutely fantastic.
That was stunning!
What a beautiful song. It should be number 1. Thanks for posting this.
In honor of Tom Evans who passed away on this day in 1983. A Tom Evans Tribute. "Maybe Tomorrow." https://youtu.be/DNfmjX8bF80
RIP Tom..... dear fellow Liverpudlian.
My mother was also a Liverpudlian... her ancestors and 2 of my siblings!!! Northern England , best music from us. My best to you, Also.
Tomorrow is November 19th...I hope Tom Evans is at peace. He was such a doll.
Kari: Know why Tom took his life?
man these guys were something else...really tragic story tho"...just can't get enough of their music...in our hey day...when I was 17/18....62 years old now...
Oscar Dunn. If you are 62 now, which i am, you were 14 or 15 when they were first on the radio.
Oscar Dunn My final request: “Please play this song on my burial ceremony.”
Am 69 now, but first heard this song when I was 18. //henry
I MELT! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
Very distinctive sound!
we still remember & love your songs. RIP, Tom
What a sweet smile Tom has just after he does the scream.
I was a very small child when these guys came on the scene, but now in my 40s, I've gained a huge appreciation for their great talent and all they were cheated of in their career.
awesome...never seen this before...thanks for posting it.
Это было волшебное время ....
R.I.P. Tom, you are so amazing, I hope you and Pete are reunited up there
Tom Evans was one of rock's finest, and, IMHO, was the voice that defined Badfinger.
Such a sweet smile ... makes me sad. Dan, did you remaster this, too? It sounds waaaay better than my CD, even over my laptop!
Tom and Pete's voices together have the same magic as Lennon/McCartney.
Not even in the same league.
the bish You're right. Pete and Tom were better.
I would say Badfinger had better harmony than the Beatles. They sung higher notes than the Fab Four!
Even the Gibbs, Clarke/Nash, Everly Bros were better than Lennon/McCartney xdd no offense, I'm a Beatle fan too however, credit where it's due
Pete with suspenders, Ron with a scarf and Mike with a medallion! And Tommy, what a pop star! And what a unique voice. So special.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simply one word : wow !!!
He would've been 65.
RIP Tom Evans.
