Badfinger - Icicles Lyrics

Some people say that Badfinger would have been much better if Ron Griffiths would have stayed, meaning that Joey would not have ever been in the band. I don't know much about Ron Griffiths other than he had some musical talent. But we've all seen and heard Joey's talents, a fine guitar player, singer, and song writer! Joey brought to the Badfinger table such gems as this one, Icecicles, plus Better Days, Suit Case Suit Case, and many more! So without Joey we don't have his great contributions to the band. I for one am glad that Joey was in! Sad for Ron Griffiths though.

One of my favorites from Joey!

badfinger is one of the great rock bands associated with the beatles and the apple label. icicles is a classic timeless masterpiece. today they are more popular to the new generation than they were during their heyday coz fans knew what had happened to them. thank you for the upload.

Hi orley, Also look for "Magic Christian Music (includes "Come and Get It"") "Airwaves," "BBC in Concert '72/ '73. two Pete Ham CD's of Demo recordings "Golders Green" and "7 Park Avenue" and a CD of Tommy Evans demos called "Over You - The Final tracks" - this CD is out of print but highly recomended if you can track down a copy. Also After The Pearl - Joey Molland's solo album from 1984 on vinyl

One of the most tragic stories in all Rock & Roll history, Badfinger nonetheless left behind a timeless body of work in the form of their first 6 albums, not to mention the lost classic "Head First", which was finally released in 2002.

Excellent song thanks for posting. Another great band whose memory is saved by you-tube, instead of disappearing forever into the ether of time.

I am a huge Beatle fan, but although the groups are forever linked you have to give Badfinger its due. They really were a great band and deserve the respect to be seen as such.
