This whole album depicts the emotional roller coaster of an intimate relationship and this song is the peak of it, the best part. And if you didn't notice, this is also the happiest song on the album, which is why it's my favorite :)

Since everyone has different perspectives on stuff here is a quick explantation for my selection (I also made a playlist of the songs in this order on my profile if you wanna check it out.)
So it starts out with Outskirts of Paradise, which I feel is the perfect introduction for someone who is just sailing along life and looking for a romance. Daft Pretty Boys gives the introduction to a boy and girl meeting and (maybe) developing something. I feel like How Am I Not Myself is a good pre-relationship song because it shows some development into a feelings stage. Obviously Swimming in the Moonlight here is the start and could be what you call the peak of the realtionship, since the very beginning is always the most blissful just-in-love happy stage. Off She Goes introduces the idea of feeling some distance starting in the relationship and Defeated shows the guy feeling the signs of a issue growing between them. Disappear Here and Love Like Revenge is where the relationship issue has been fully recognized and they are both figuring out whether or not they can work through it or if it's the end. Maybe We're Meant to Be Alone shows that things are at their worst and they are in a 'break' stage. Violet is basically an 'i miss you/I still love you' song and in Heartbreaker we see that they still have feelings regardless of them knowing they have problems with the relationship. Progressing from these Even in my Dreams I Can't win is the coming into acceptance that maybe things aren't meant to be and Paitience gives a perfect ending (in my opinion) showing the looking back on things and finally feeling ok that they are over.
