heard it over and over again in this thread. i was a teen when korn came out and they were so horrible i never listened to them again. since so many people mentioned that here i went and looked them up to see... youre all out of your fucking mind. korn is as trash as i found them in the first and it sounds NOTHING like this.

I know Bad Brains was a Hardcore Punk band, but this song was clearly when they crossed over into Metal. Because this song is very Metal

I don't care if H.R is not a singer or supoosed not to sing for Bad Brains...this guy is a legend in his own right, and this song really signifies him...without a doubt, so please...leave the guy alone....hands down, if it wasn't for H.R i wouldn't know, Korn, Deftones, Sevendust, Ill Nino etc.....

This is great, but without H.R, it's not quite Bad Brains. H.R.'s voice is like lighting; ripping through a rain storm and crashing down though the core of the earth, to the other side. It's electric, and on an untouched level.

And I remember everyone kept saying the Grunge movement heralded the end of the guitar solo, and yet, Dr. Know just shredded the fuck out of a rather dangerous guitar solo on this track, speaking of beasts.

Blasphemy to the purists, maybe, but those of us who love music and love Bad Brains music love the fuck out of Rise.

This song was the biggest reason for that.

Saw orginal bad brains 1988. Later bad brains with Mackie ( brilliant) with the old lead singer of faith no more.
