Early works of BYB was clear glam-metal than they began mixing glam with alternative rock like made it Skid Row or Mr.Big when they wanted hold the trand (glam gay image BYB remained the same). From later works BYB glam-metal comes through from all the cracks (there is russian slowhabit in translation сквозит из всех щелей when you try hiding what everyone sees). Excuse me but Guns'N'Roses "Garden of Eden" is not glam?

It's got a typical BYB feel to it. It's not their best but it's still a good single. They've not released amazing stuff for a while now but they're a band I've loved since I was about 13 and I'll always support what they do.

Total 13 was 1998, we will never see its like again. For me its up there with Never Mind the Bollocks, Appetite for Destruction, and Earth Vs the Wildhearts. All those albums have one thing in common - the bands were young and hungry (and skint) when they wrote them, and now that they've a few decades under their belts (and millions, in one case) reproducing the same energy that drove them would be near impossible.
People grow, tastes change. Would you really want a facsimile of Total 13 in 2018? It was of its time, as were the others.
Backyard Babies are a great band with a good time agenda, and I'm glad they're still around.
Shovin' Rocks ain't gonna rewrite the Rock'n'Roll song book, but it's entertaining in its own way.
