All the great songs are, or eventually become through gathering a big following, they're all radio-friendly and 'COMMERCIAL'... Radiohead have had lots of 'commercial' songs? Great songs become popular, whether it's The Beatles, Bob Dylan, or Radiohead...I'm pretty sure that Pete Doherty and Thom Yorke would rather have a million people appreciate their lyrics and melodies, than just a-hundred people...  Artists WANT their creations appreciated...''Nothing Comes To Nothing''  is lyrically excellent, melodically mellifluous and beautiful, and musically the song's exciting and engaging. Great job if you ask me... Some people think they sound clever by slating a song for being 'commercial' or radio-friendly'... The more lyrically-interesting and lyrically-captivating songs that are played on the radio, surely, that's a good thing.
