i cant believe babyface ever listened to Dan Fogelburg. He also does songs by Bread and Jim Croce and James Taylor. i love Babyface and i really love that change the world song with Clapton. the radio burned me out on that soft rock clapton did a couple albums of. i thought i would never listen to any of it except... WONDERFUL TONIGHT. Always something newvto learn when your life has been focused on music appreciation and the truest interactions between the Ebonies and the Amigos with the appropriately humbled white brothers. i attended grade school in the early seventies. fully integrated. nobody bussed in from too far cos it was a multi racial low income neighborhood. by high school in the early eighties.... the hippies or the freaks or the smokers wall / where the doobies were shared we had the best of the multiracial crew. mostly divorved parents or older parents. the wildest things we did was run the neighborhood pulling silly kid pranks. like firecrackers or water balloons , sneaking down to the railroad tracks to try and smoke but got sick and swore against them. in my crowd of the hippie kids the culture was doing great nearly perfect. what happened? how did the gen x kids go backwards 40 years? a truly hateful conspiracy of the evil politicians and MSM and social engineers. how dare tgey tear down the good place us 70s kids achieved. we were scared at first. but all warnings turned out to be unwarranted. did rap and heavy metal and country music divide us. i only branched out . 80s was my discovery of soul music and 90s was alternative rock and the millenial was going back to country outlaws and hard country radio then onto the bands in spanish that emulated classic rock and 80s soul music. i love espana and every spanish speaking musicians and singers that have embraced the best musical arrangements of my life . even italian artists too. What would Jesus do.? jesus was a cool dude to us second generation flower children. we thought we had the best of life without major wars. but now i know it was most covert and a sectet technology explosion and experimenting on the working class. Americans who have lovevin their hearts and refusevto give up on the ideals we had of love and peace and happiness. we cant let them steal OUR LEGACY!!!!!!! We liked each other we integrated. we spebtvthe night with each other we made our parents pull out their old 45 records that hsd motown and Elvis and Beatles and we got them to listen to queen and pink floyd. Lord Jesus pkease come and make it right. put it back like we had it. before we all moved on to marriage and careers and kids. born 1965. graduated 1983 in Fort Worth Texas. mayfest and sixflags and burgers lake and putt putt and little league baseball. it was real. now its just REAL SAD.
