I think verse for verse AZ is just as talented as Nas but Nas makes better albums. The difference imo is Nas' versatility and ability to reach a wider audience.

Also, musically both artists are similar in what they rap about. But Nas' ability to give you tracks like The World is Yours, Halftime, It ain't hard to tell, Black Girl Lost, I gave you Power, If I ruled the World,One Mic, Rewind, the list goes on.... separates Nas from being just a nice emcee. Nas is other worldly in his approach. The Nigger Album... it's so much that Nas touches on and can that I feel AZ can't not bc AZ isnt talented but bc that's not really his lane.
