Considering that this is the album released just after her divorce with Deryck Whibley, this music is about exactly what she felt. She tried to stop him and preventing him from alcohol abuse and drugs, he didn't listen (like in the lyrics), and in the end, he was pulling her into this caotic estate. He only kind of stop recently when barely got out alive, after a few days at the hospital. I love Sum41 and automatically Deryck but he permanently lost my respect and Avril's heart, what a waste.

+유지민 Because it is a sad song. It's basically about a failing relationship. And the two people love each other but everything they try to do to fix the relationship fails. And they are left to just end it completely and walk away instead of trying to make something work that won't work.

I don't think it's about trying to fix it. Its about a confession or realization, of helplessness, trying to see a way forward, but knowing this isn't it.

Once I was a little blackstar I loved this song although I couldn't understand the lyrics... They were so vague to me... Now i'm (un)fully grown up... and adult... And after all this time that's passed by, I would totally forget her work... But, for some reason, a part of these lyrics just started to bang on my head just earlier ago... I couldn't remember those words were coming from this song, but I would start googling them to find the song they've come from. Now I can finally understand these words, these lyrics.
