Well I am seeing people here arguing over if intro by violin is Middle Eastern or Indian Claasical. I actually think I can answer that question as I am a music student and I am always willing to learn every type of music. So if you're not a music lover and racist, I'll suggest you to ignore this comment. If you simply want to learn what actual reality is and can bear with me, you can proceed. 😊

First of all, Let's talk about this song Tough love. When I listen that intro I was really happy because I never listened this type of music in any of Avicii's past composition. So I went to wikipedia and found out that this intro was clearly influenced by a song name called Banarasiya from movie Raanjhanaa. Avicii also studied the music of North - western India. You can find it on song wikipedia yourself. So I'd say the idea of intro was clearly inspired by that song.

Now people are arguing over here if it sounds more Indian than Middle Eastern or more Middle Eastern. So, at this point you can think whatever you want, either way you're right. Because Indian Claasical music and middle Eastern music are similar in many ways. If you listen Indian claasical music here, you also can feel a little bit of middle - eastern vibes too. And I am here talking about 'INDIAN CLAASICAL' music not bollywood. In previous time, when Islamic people from Middle- East captured North India, it also impacted on indian music, arts and culture so deep. That's why people find these musics of completely different zones similar. Indian Claasical has two forms - Caranatic Form or South Indian which is purely Indian and other is North Indian which was highly effected with Persian music at that time. I hope it helps you finding out why Indian and Middle Eastern music sound similar.

Well now if anyone say indian music, anyone can simply assume Bollywood whereas the actual picture is more bigger and deeper than what people notice. Bollywood is just a movie industry and it is used as a face of indian music on international level which is really wrong. Bollywood can be anything (from good music to bad music) but I won't advice you to judge Indian music by Bollywood. Indian claasical and folk music is actual music of India. It's not what bollywood shows. Indian claasical music is not only unknown to foreigners but by many Indians themselves as Bollywood has taken over the vast part of India.

The artists like Avicii are trying hard to make music from each and every corner of the world for us. On the other hand people are arguing over the music and telling cuss words to other races and thinking themselves more superior than others. It's really sad to see. 😔

At last, i'd say music has no religion, doesn't matter where I am from, if I like other people music, I simply like it. There's no shame to admit that.
