It's odd
I prefer the more lofty sounding stringwork of this version then the techno based original.
But in the original his voice just has so much more feeling and depth.

Wow, I remember hearing your music when I used to play xbox late unto the night and those were one of the most chill memories I ever had at a time I was down. Seeing you grow and hearing your voice develop through the years makes me teary eyed. This is coming from someone you have effected, for the better, and I hope to see you become even better.

I love this one. The original song is also my favorite song from Ghost in the Code. Out of the acoustics from the new album my favorites are this one, Mechanical Instinct, and Apocalypse state of mind. Which ironically aren't posted on YouTube yet. Can't wait til they do.

Well done on the acoustic version of this song! The only nitpicky thing I found is that the chorus has a very similar tune to the chorus of the Imagine Dragon's song "Demons."

Sure, in short your tone of voice is creepy. The whole song vocally and instrumentally sounded like a failed early 90's pop song. The mono tone screams of sleep and at any moment where it felt like it was going to build to something it just turns whiny and sounds like the little brother of Rick Astley. Again just my opinion.

Still the best album, IMO, despite Building Better Worlds, Stargazers and A Song That Never Ends being great too.

Ghosts in the Code just contains the most memorable songs - Red, Set Me Free, Revenge, Ghosts in the Code, Party Song, Reach (All Along) - so many of them!
