This Album started of slow and underwhelming.. but midway through picks up make it one of the greats.. this track and especially the one with within temptation are the best tracks.. very catchy, well thought out lyrics and composition.. 4.5/5 and only because the first few tracks are a bit underwhelming..

I love this song so much, it's spiritual, it's magical, but you can also tell it's somewhere rooted in reality (the theme around ghostlights seem to be a metaphor to extremism and religion). When I listen to it I'm picturing a phoenix that's rising from the ashes that is today's humanity

This is European "power metal" (if you are referring to this song). It is a subgenre started by the band Helloween with their album Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part I, in 1987. The now ex-Helloween singer, Michael Kiske, also sings on this song.
