Whenever i feel old and depressed i watch this. I got the cassette in 84 and wore it out! I was prob one of the first in my little town that had this cassette. All my friends were wow'd that rode in my little toyota corolla with a pioneer stereo and speakers that i crossed into ohms. I had a mad scientist uncle that showed me how to do it. Cruising the town back then was cool and teens cruising in the cars about a mile long from end to end. This song makes me happy still and although im almost 50 now its okay and going to be alright. Lots of close friends gone either by death or just life, i still have youtube and nothing can take away my fond memories and new ones around the corner. Enjoy!

Another band from the 80's that actually put out an album where all the songs were good. Most acts nowadays can't muster up 3 good songs on a CD. The rest is filler shit. That is the difference between now and then. History lesson over.

yeah I've read that.  Steve is a nice dude...met him once, didn't get that  "I'm above you" attitude from him at all.. He was cool and very talented.. so many greats came out of GIT and so many of them for the most part are pretty down to earth.. they're more students than thinking they're the greatest thing since sliced bread you know.

I met these guys down in Daytona Beach the summer this came out. They were uncomfortable about making this vid. The director wanted more "personality"  from the band, not just normal playing of the instruments. Hope that may explain the way the drummer acts.    They were very cool dudes btw....have a good day dude.

OK let's clear this up - Autograph was NOT a metal band - they were a hard rock band ala Dokken, Van Halen, Ratt etc. There is no such thing as "soft metal".

Metal is Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Accept, Motorhead etc.

Anyway, they've us left some nice legacy after them.

And when they toured in support of Van Halen, Steve Lynch was not allowed to do his 8-finger tapping solos. So that kinda played a nubmer on the band as well. If things were better for Autograph(ain't sayin' that things ere totally bad) and if they wrote some of their stuff a little heavier then they would've been WAY bigger. This band had the potential. But unfortunately, it wasn't used fulfilled 100%.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think Autograph were a bad band. I just think they could've done better if some things were a little different. This is not to say, that it's only their fault, that they god so limited exposure. The record label didn't really push the band into the limelight. It was only after Turn Up The Radio became popular, only then the label began to push them somewhat.

Well, when i said "soft" metal, i meant that they're an 80's glam metal band, although they among the lightest of the glam bands.

Too bad that their sound got a bit bland later. They sometimes lacked in heaviness. They would have done better than they have, if they would have written their songs a bit differently.
