@J potato Random man Aurora takes her sister Miranda on tour with her and to photo-shoots. She doesn't like other people doing her make-up. Slightly diva-ish maybe but I guess it's Aurora's choice.

MC T. Not really diva-ish, shehas expressed that she just feels really uncomfortable being touched by random strangers so having her sister do her makeup feels safe and comfortable.

@I G I guess she could do what 99.99% of other women do and do her own make-up. For someone so passionate about mother earth, flying a make-up artist around the world on tour with her leaves one hell of a carbon foot-print for a layer of face paint.

She doesn't use that much makeup. Just a little foundation mostly, because she's often blushing when she's nervous. She's vegan as far as I understood. That helps on the skin as well.

She's really incomparable to many of the "artists" in music today.  In a league of her own.  She will be a legend.

She's already a legend in my opinion.

i empathize with feeling out of touch with my identity, you know? like at this point im so far removed from my sense of self that I may as well be deer, a flower. sometimes i walk into a party and i think "i dont belong here", im not made of the stuff that allow humans to be social or

same, to many years I have lived with the feeling of being out of place. of being almost human but never quite

As I dive more and more into her work, I'm feeling like I'm starting to change, too, a little bit. All the facades and stuff I made up in order to be "normal", or rather being "weird" in the eyes of others are starting to go away, to crumble slowly. Just let them go, if you have an animal soul, if you don't feel like you belong here, that's because you lie to yourself.
Stop all the lies, sing, dance, be free, because there's only you in the end. Spread your wings, dance on the streets, sing with people, and stop being afraid of not fitting in.

Lots of people feel that way. Some people learn to socialize; I did too, but I still don't like parties as much.


I would love to live in nature. But I'm just not the kind of person that would manage to do that in the end, which makes me incredibly sad. By the time I'd be able to, the planet will be dead anyway. It's so horrible.

I've never liked parties. I don't fit into them. Only rarely have I been to a party with like-minded souls. Then it was grand. One time it was a volunteer party at a local Nature center. The other time it was an opening of a local independent bookstore. Those of us who were there had plenty to say to each other...because we were the warriors and the weirdos. :) We could have random conversations about anything in the universe and it all made sense to us.

It isn't that we can't be social. We just can't make small talk or fit in to the usual social energy. It makes me want to go into the corner with a good book and ignore all of it. It touches me to my core that Aurora is able to put this way of being into the most beautiful music. And, as she says, she is only getting started. The best is yet to come.
