Too many metal bands have abandoned their initial heavy sound in favor of a more "commercially viable" sound and ABR isn't about that. Don't call it shitty, get familiarized.

I love August Burns Red, but I really don't think this works...it doesn't have enough melody to emulate the original song. The Animal in Me did a rock/metal cover that sounded better in my opinion. But that's just me.

I don't usually enjoy Punk goes Pop covers but August Burns Red are one of the best bands to appear on these compilations. This cover and their Baby One More Time cover are both fantastic and manage to sound like the originals only with meaty guitars and uncleans throughout, showing that they can turn glitzy pop songs into powerful and heavy melodic metalcore tunes.
