Do people seriously think these guys aren’t Christian ?

I lost my friend to suicide today.

I don't personally believe in Christ. But I know he did. I respect that.

I am so shocked. I unfollowed him on social media due to his wild opinions, and for that I blinded myself to what he was really saying. Regardless of his ways, I wish I had known. I wish I could go back and at least have the opportunity to see what's going on, but i really screwed up my chance at helping him.

He was my former recruiter in the Army, former 19D. He was my inspiration to become one. He used to put a trash bag over me and make me run laps around the office. Of course, my head was sticking out. That idea made me sweat like a motherfucker, but his determination to get me where I wanted to be was something I rarely had growing up, as I had no father figure growing up.

He used to make calls to me just to see how I was doing and it really didnt seem like he was just doing his job, it seemed like he really cared.

I just wish I had known so I could have helped him when he had helped me so much already.
After going back to his page, I realized how much hurt he was in. His wife was leaving him, and i know he very much loved his son. It hurts me that he left this world early. It hurts me that there wasnt anything we could do.

This song brought light back into my life a dozen times. Every time I felt down, I mean down for real, I listened to this song and it brings me to tears, every time. God is the one that gives a meaning to my life, nothing else is important if you think about it. Its like we have everything because of Jesus, but we keep on walking on our sinful paths more or less, still he died for us and we keep on walking that path a lot of times. I still do and the aggression in his voice make me think of my own mistakes and how sad I am that I still choose that path a lot of times. My father in law is a muslim and he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I have a lot of respect for muslims I don't have a problem standing up for muslims. And, if you look closely, there's a LOT of people who care about the lyrics and the message. I just wanted to say that the song describes the situation in which most of us, Christians, find ourselves when we realize we're nothing without the Lord in our lives, and that He's the only one that can pull us out from there. If it's "disappointment", is to our sinful selves, not to our Lord and Savior. It's actually a really powerful prayer.

+solunasunrise to answer this my friend. redemption from sin by confessing to God your sins and passing. from death to life or from the road to hell to heaven as we Christians believe is very positive and the author of the lyrics is seeking redemption from sin and saying I'm going to end the life I was living and he goes on to seek God's help in say be my voice be my strength and my glory! because we must thank God for answering our prayers and forgive us. Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7 says in him we have redemption through his blood and forgiveness of our sins in accordance to the riches of God's grace. so the title does fit the song. but I don't know if you have Christ in your life or not! ? but I tell you I was an atheist and was dying from a drug overdose and called out to God in Jesus name and my greatest testimony to tell you why I believe just in case you're wondering why people believe as they do. first he showed up when I could feel my spirit ripping from my body second I can feel him in my life every day and would never return to that life again because I was a miserable and selfish person before! and I tell you. These guys have really awesome riffs love the music some of the screamo gets redundant.. But I love screamo with a Lil melody as well demon hunter kind but I am new to ABR plus I'm almost 40 wish these bands were around when in my teen yes. God bless!

Thats mostly because these people are starting the story wrong. We were once good before God, nearly perfect even. Most people start it at ' your sinful before god and you need to get your stuff together or you're going to hell' that way is a scare tactic.
