Audrey Assad - Come Thou Fount Lyrics
Come, thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it, mount of Thy redeeming love.
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger, interposed His precious blood.
O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be!
O, let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love.

52 Come, Thou Fount Of Every Blessing.
Come, thou fount of every blessing,Tune my heart to sing thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me ever to adore thee, may I still thy goodness prove,
While the hope of endless glory, Fills my heart with joy and love.
Here I raise my Ebenezer, hither by thy help I’ve come;
And I hope by thy good pleasure, Safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger, Wand’ring from the fold of God;
He to rescue me from all danger, Interposed his precious blood
O, to grace how great a debtor, daily I’m constrained to be!
Let thy goodness like a fetter; Bind me closer still to thee;
Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love,
Here’s my heart, O, take and seal it; Seal it for thy courts above.
I don't deserve this so thank you.

Lovely!
I love Audrey's worship singing. Her voice is full of authenticity which comes from a deep spiritual walk. Keep singing Audrey!
Never was really a favorite hymn of mine, and I lost the beauty of the words because my ear did not like the melody. You have completely changed my prejudice against this hymn. It is a beautiful melody, which your voice certainly is a key part of highlighting. And the words are so poetic and hopeful. I usually prefer traditional hymns to remain traditional, but again, you have done it so well and your musical choices are "so right" that you have proven me wrong on this as well. Truly love your music and your precious gifts.
Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here there by Thy great help I've come
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
Oh, that day when freed from sinning
I shall see Thy lovely face
Clothed then in the blood washed linen
How I'll sing Thy wondrous grace
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry
Take my ransomed soul away
Send Thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless day
Oh, to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be
Let that goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, oh, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Here's my heart, oh, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Thank you for the lyrics. Now I can sing along!
Thank you .💗🔥🙏 Beautifully awesome words ..
I’d clean forgotten about this exquisite hymn - especially Audrey’s version of it.. Remembered it because of Jackie Hill Perry’s recent tweet citing the lyrics and it all came back ❤️❤️!!
God, please take and seal my heart and bring me back home. 🙏🏼😃
Audrey has such a pretty voice!
Best Melody and perfect nuance.
This hymn sends shivers down my spin

This hymn goes direct to the soul! Thank you so much Audrey!!
Thanks for uploading this! Beautiful, awesome song by a greatly gifted artist. I love how the old hymns were written...the language seems to better lend itself to the sublime than much of what is written nowadays.
I wholeheartedly agree. The words of these classic hymns seem to convey a deeper more intimate understanding and heartfelt gratitude of the grace and mercy of God in the Person of Jesus Christ than most (not all) songs today. Hymns are some of, if not the most, beautiful pieces written, ever.
could you make one with the lyrics??
Being as I've never done that before, I don't really know how. But I'll look into it and see if I can.
