Love Audioslave. Love Rage Against The Machine. I just cant get behind Tom's leads in Audioslave songs though. This one just sounds like noise! I'm a guitar player that loves leads too...... Am i alone here?

No, I believe the same thing! I love RATM but for some odd reason Tom's solos in Audioslave just sound... Idk, like they don't really fit? It seems weird considering that's what he's known for and all and I generally enjoy them, but with this album among the other two, his solos seem out of place or just straight-up bad/weird to describe it

I've always been a fan Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, and Audioslave, but I never really payed attention to these lyrics. I found myself gravitating to this song lately. Then I realized how much the song's story of a woman's redemptive love and what becoming a father can do for you. Might as well be my life story. Now I REALLY love it. Damnit...why aren't you still here, Chris???

Toda vez que ouço Audioslave me impressiono com o talento do Tim, e a forma como ele segura as músicas sozinho pra dar base pras loucuras do Morello, acho que essa música é o melhor exemplo disso, no verso ele mantém um groove que vai simples, e volta cheio de notas, mas não fica cansativo, muito pelo contrário, atrai a atenção das pessoas pro contrabaixo que é um instrumento desconhecido pela maioria dos não músicos, resumindo o cara é um baixista e tanto, muito fera, uma inspiração pra os baixistas menos experientes como eu.

Sem dúvidas, o cara é um dínamo. Naturalmente, o entrosamento do trio do Rage Against the Machine ajuda demais esses caras manterem o pique da remada.

Isso sem contar o talento deles.

I got here by accident. I never really knew who Chris Cornell was and when the news of his death reached me on social media, I was indifferent. I've only just realized that 'Your Time Has Come' is sung by him. This led me onto here. Now I'm sad he's dead. Thanks a bunch, YouTube....

God speed Chris Cornell. He had a silky smooth voice. Ya just wanted to wrap yourself in his vocal chords.

He was the ultimate example of vocal talent that you simply can't teach. His range and control on the high notes was phenominal.

Love this song because it has an excellent guitar riff like almost all songs on the first album. 

Are there any more Audioslave songs like this from the other albums?

I still feel this is the only song that is comparable to the great riffs on that first album. But I'd be gladly to be proved wrong.

Thanks, yeah thats quite good, I've listened to the album a lot more now and I think #1 Zero and The Worm are really good and almost match the quality of the first album.
